The staff at the La Fragua 2 hotel were helpful from our arrival until our departure. They provided worthwhile advice (in English) about places to visit, places to eat and walks to take. We followed this advice and this allowed our stay to be even better than it may have been. The hotel room was comfortable and spotlessly clean with...

We had a two night stay here as part of a self guided walking holiday in Las Alpujarras, and loved it! The rooms were spacious, cosy and clean. The shower was hot and had great water pressure - just what we needed after a long day of walking. The balcony afforded beautiful views across Trevelez. We had two single beds...

My wife and I had stayed at this hotel on several previous occasions in Spring, Summer and Autumn and we had also stayed at its "sister" hotel (Fragua 1) and had eaten at the separate "Restaurante Fragua". All 3 premises are under common ownership and are located nearby located in the Barrio Medio of Trevelez, a village which claims to...

We stayed here for 2 nights on out tour of Andalucia This is a very comfortable hotel in the highest village in the Sierra Nevada. We had a very spacious ensuite room, which was clean and comfortable. The rooms all have a decent sized balcony with seating and of course the stunning mountain views. The rooms were rather dark, which...

I stayed here one night along with my daughter and son . While it is mainly a base for those wanting to climb , I wanted to visit Trevelez the highest village in the Alpujarras. My children both decided they would like to return and climb the highest peak one day. It was Feria when we visited so we did...

Large balcony in room with lovely views right down the valley. The nearby restaurant was excellent - similar views, very friendly and efficient waitress and good food with very reasonable and delicious house wine.

Spent two nights here while hiking in Trevelez. So impressed with the location, nice and quiet and a minute walk from a great trailhead, the cleanliness of the room, and the great balcony that overlooks the mountains. Breakfast is ample, served downstairs, and costs 5€. Be sure to say hello to Leona, the small dog that lives here. She accompanied...
