My wife and I are travelling through NE and booked this B&B in advance not having visited Woodstock before. What sets this apart is the the hospitality of the owners. They could not be more helpful. Add in large rooms and 2 great breakfasts and a short walk to village centre and it's just about perfect. Craig and Nicky H

Our time at The Charleston House was fantastic. Upon being pleasantly greeted by the lovely Willa and Dixie we were shown our room. Both my husband and I walked along the southern style porch furnished with white rockers and shaded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Our room was gorgeous, four post bed, fireplace, and jacuzzi style tub. Breakfast was delicious...

My wife and I were turned away because we have a 9 month old. Thanks a lot. We stay at bed and breakfasts all the time, this is the first time we have been turned down because of our daughter. Seemed surprised we even suggested bringing our baby.

We visited for one night in July. We had a smallish but clean and comfortable room on the ground floor. Willa and Dixie were friendly. The breakfast was delicious but there was no choice of fare. The location was very central just off the village green. Parking was on-site and shady.

Wonderful B&B owners. In a very convenient location in Woodstock. I had a friend who needed to stay over for one night and the owners were very gracious in allowing her to do that, even inviting her to breakfast the next morning! I will stay again in the future. I had the room (Pomfret Hills) right on the main street,...

Location is right at the beginning of downtown: a short 5 minute walk to everything including the Woodstock Inn. Plenty of free parking. We felt very welcome. The room was very clean. It was furnished with antiques, including a four poster bed, has A/C, TV, fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was freshly made and tasted great! Best of all it...

We stayed here for several nights recently and had a wonderful experience. The Charleston House is just a minute or two walk away from Woodstock's main drag, but is quiet and peaceful. Dixi and Willa were gracious hosts who were always available and very accommodating. Willa's sumptuous breakfasts (and Dixi's diligent coffee service) were a definite highlight, and I'm glad...

Happened into Woodstock (VT) on a meandering road-trip vacation. We stumbled in the Charleston House after considering other options and were greeted by Willa and wonderful smells from the kitchen. She was most gracious & inviting not only describing the rooms available but... allowing us to see two of them to help us decide. The house is in a good...

We happened to be looking for a last minute place to stay in Woodstock. The inn keepers were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was nice and warm on a very cold January night! It was clean and comfortable too. We were treated to a beautiful breakfast of french toast, bacon and fruit in the morning. Everything was delicious! (Willa...
