We had a wonderful time. This was our first time staying at a bed & breakfast and didn't know quite what to expect. Bob and Sue were warm and welcoming. Sue's breakfasts were delicious with generous portions and we enjoyed the conversations with the other guests as well as Bob and Sue. Loved the Woodstock area in general - lots...

We have stayed in Woodstock, Vermont for years but had never stayed at the Canterbury House. It is just what you would hope a B&B would be. Period decorated, quaint and immaculate with friendly but not intrusive hosts and a breakfast that can take you all the way to dinner! We met some wonderful people at breakfast, which just adds...

This was the 7th year my mom and I came for a weekend visit and we plan to keep the tradition going as long as possible. We enjoy our hosts as well as their beautiful home and the town of Woodstock. We're already looking forward to our visit next year!

My wife and I spent a weekend at the Canterbury House Bed and Breakfast in July. We couldn’t have been happier with our accommodations and the stay was without a doubt the best we have had in Woodstock. We stayed in the Chaucers Garrett. It is on the third floor and is their largest room. It is tastefully decorated and...

We will be back again - this cozy bed & breakfast located in the heart of Woodstock was warm and welcoming. The Innkeepers Sue and Bob Frost gave us great suggestions for what to do in the area, hiking, biking, shopping (of course) and visiting local farms that made cheese, farmers markets, along with areas resturants and cafes. Each day...

We had a great stay, as always! Bob and Sue are the best! We love the room (Monks Tale) we stay in and the the breakfast is always delicious. But the best thing about staying at the Canterbury House is Bob and Sue. They are wondeful people! Pam & Ron T

Really enjoyed our one night here. We have not gotten so much attention at other B&Bs we've stayed at. Breakfast was ample and tasty. Can walk to every place in town.

The hosts were welcoming, gracious, informative and delightful conversationalist. The sleeping and living space was comfortable and inviting. Sue's breakfast was delicious and more than we expected. At our next visit to the area we will definitely plan to stay at the Canterbury House . Without hesitation, we are also recommending this bed and breakfast to our friends.

The Canterbury House was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Vermont. It's in the village of Woodstock, which is a great place to walk, shop, and eat. Our room was comfortable, warm and roomy. Bob and Sue are wonderful hosts who make your stay a pleasant one. Also, the breakfasts were delicious and sustained us until we...

“We stayed in the Parson's Tale room which is on the front corner of the building. This gives windows on two sides of the room giving a nice outlook and plenty of light. There is some traffic noise, so if this bothers you try to get a room at the back. The bathroom didn't have a bath, just a shower cubicle and it was quite cramped, although I guess that is to be expected in a building of this age.”
