Beautiful B&B in the heart of Woodstock. Unfortunately even with a strictly enforced 25 mph speed limit and stop signs, the street that is downtown Woodstock is a two lane highway with heavy and constant traffic. If you are sensitive to traffic noise, you'll have to find a place way out in the country, because that is a fact of...

This bed and breakfast was delightful. The hosts were very gracious and left you alone unless you needed something like things to see in the area or recommendation on restaurants with full copies of the menus. The morning breakfast left us plenty full for lunch in the afternoon. The cookies in the afternoon were also a nice touch. We will...

This was my first time staying at a Bed and breakfast. I have to say Charlotte made us feel very welcomed and had a delicious breakfast ready for us when we woke up. The rooms are clean and have an old farm house charm. I would definitely return to Ardmore Inn again if I have the chance.

We stayed at the Ardmore for the first time in January, and Charlotte was the most splendid, hospitable hostess! Classical music and tea while cozied up with a book in the library, fresh cookies every afternoon, clean and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast every morning... all of the details really made us feel so happy and welcome. We were talking about...

If you're looking for a charming B&B with a knowledgeable innkeeper and winning service, than stay at the Ardmore Inn! Charlotte is a gem, and greets you upon your arrival with a polite smile. She will happily take your breakfast order the night before, which then you will wake up to the wonderful smell of fresh baked scones, and a...

We had planned an overnight stop at the Ardmore en route back to Boston , having enjoyed the beautiful scenery throughout New England. From the minute we stepped inside we felt like house guests . Charlotte is the most consummate , unassuming host. She has thought of every detail - the Halloweeny touches were tasteful and all over the house....

Total scam. If the customer service I received trying to book this place is an indication of the quality of service you get when staying, take my advice and pass. Here's my experience. I booked a single night stay for Christmas Eve on Hotels.com and received a confirmation. A few hours later, I got an email from the inn saying...

From December 23-December 31 we have a two night minimum stay due to the busy holiday season. This information is posted on the Ardmore Inn website under General Information - subtitle "Reservation Deposit" - 2nd paragraph. This same information was given to Expedia, Hotels.com, etc. and we assumed they posted it and did not know otherwise until this one night...

Kerry and Charlotte very kindly allowed us to join their guests for breakfast (we were staying at a motel opposite). We had probably the most delicious breakfast I have ever enjoyed; fresh bread, home made granola, delicious fruit jams, fresh orange juice....we declined a cooked b'fast but they looked superb as well. Charlotte was kind enough to give us all...

The Ardmore Inn is located in the main street and in easy walking distance to stores, restaurants and the Covered Bridge. We stayed here over other B&B's as the decorations were more modern, but still respectful of the older style of building. Plus there was off street parking. Charlotte is a wonderful host and we greatly appreciated her warm welcome,...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about the Ardmore. Glad you enjoyed your stay and I wish there was something else we should do about the traffic noise other than earplugs. The Ardmore was built in 1867 and not totally soundproof - especially during our busy fall season. We hope the company of other...

The Ardmore Inn is perfectly situated in the main street of Woodstock, in walking distance from stores and good restaurants. Charlotte, the charming hostess and owner of this lovely old home has hospitality perfected. I chose this inn because of the location and because the rooms seemed more modern and less stuffy than some others available in town (i.e. no...
