The hotel was well located in the middle of the town. Everything is in walking distance. Personnel was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and nice - no complaints. Nice coffee and tea opportunity for free at lobby.

We travelled to Norway with Discover the world to do a fly drive so arrived here on a Sunday relatively late on. The receptionist was fairly brusque and unsmiling [the others were not; he was the one person we met in Norway who obviously did...More
There are not a lot of hotels in this remote area of Norway so this is a good option if you are in the area and need somewhere to stay.

Friendly check-in. We were late for dinner the first night because of a hold-up picking up the hire car (computer system problem). Staff were sympathetic despite the culture of being prompt for engagements in Norway.

Did you read my review or another one? I never mentioned a lift, I ieven went back to check and there is no lift anywhere in my review. i remember well there was a lift and anyway it's not something I absolutely need in a hotel, luckily. And i remember there was no tea or coffe in my room, maybe there was in yours. Given the general quality of service in Norway I wouldn't find surprising that they forgot to put tea and coffee in some rooms. You can save insulting comments, if you please.
