Second time in Montefalco, second time in Oro Rosso. The hosts are so friendly, the rooms spacious, clean, very modern bathrooms, excellent beds and the breakfast is very good. The central location makes this one a winner. We know where to stay in Montefalco next time as well....

We had a meal at this restaurant and it was very nice and pleasant. Friendly and accommodating atmosphere. Would definitely eat there again, and recommend it. Not cheapest, but not verybpricey. We found it good value for money.

By far some of the nicest hospitality we received in Italy. The owners graciously responded our many questions on the area, and dedicated time to helping organize our trip to Bevagna. The location is also a plus, as it's right near anywhere you would want to go in Montefalco. The breakfast options are also better than many that we saw...

We stayed at the Oro Rosso Hotel in Montefalco while walking from Assisi to Spoleto through the Umbrian Hills. We arrived at the hotel during a thunderstorm, dripping wet, were given the key to our room and told to come down when we were ready to have a welcome glass of wine. We were offered a glass of local wine...

We chose Montefalco as our home base to visit the various hill towns in Umbria. We stayed four nights at the Oro Rosso Hotel. The hotel room was lovely and the bathroom wonderful. Very modern. A lot of thought had been put into decorating as the facility is old put the rooms fabulous. Breakfast was included and was plentiful and...

Spent 4 nights at this surprising hotel and SURPRISE of a town. Was able to visit numerous Umbrian hill-towns (Including Assisi) within an easy drive. The hotel staff were simply marvelous in helping us out and very patient with my attempts at their language. The room was incredibly spacious and well equipped. The resto food was plentiful in both quantity...

Found the hotel in Dorling Kindersley. Room and service as described in guide. Quality food and wine, especially the wine from a local partner. Can recommend buying the wine package. Friendly family reception and informal waiters.

We chose to stay at this hotel after reading the reviews on tripadvisor. We confirm everything and would like to describe our unique experience, having just spent 4 nights on half-board basis at this wonderful family-run hotel. Being a family with a celiac and a baby that does need specific food, we consider ourselves as 'complicated clients', but we never...

We stayed two nights in October whilst on a self-guided walk. The couple running the hotel gave us the most welcoming stay in our four weeks in Italy. The location was perfect. Our room was very comfortable. The renovated bathroom was a special treat after a long day walking. The home-cooked local food, both at breakfast and at the restaurant,...

We had the pleasure of staying here in October. The photos and other descriptions accurately reflect this wonderful hotel. We were greeted warmly by Antoinette who showed us to our spotlessly clean, well appointed rooms. Breakfast was included and it was fabulous - such a selection of both sweet and savory dishes. Montefalco itself is a great place to make...
