We stayed at the B and B over the Thanksgiving weekend , first spending 2 nights in an apartment owned by the BnB owners and then moving into the BnB. I would highly recommend both and would love to return. Both accommodations are nicely decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the location, very near Carey Town is excellent. What...

Just visited The One for the third time. We travel a lot and usually rate trips, and lodging on a “1” (never had one that bad) to “10”, Really, Really loved it). The One a “10” for a number of reasons. First, it is such a neat place. We don’t get to stay places that takes art deco to such...

We had a fabulous stay at The One this week-end! My girlfriend and I had a girls week-end with our daughters, and it as just perfect! We stayed in the Dream and Slumber Suites that had the adjoining balcony which was fun. Sean and Polly were the perfect hosts, we had yummy breakfasts and having snacks and beverages available 24/7...

What a cozy find in Richmond! Was a bit concerned at first that you the hosts were out of town and we never met anybody in person there. But Trisha was extremely helpful over the phone. The room had such cute and whimsical touches and every amenity. The shower and the bathroom nightlight were great. The continental breakfast and available...

When we decided to visit Richmond, our main goal was to take in the Richmond Museum of Fine Arts. Fortunately, The One is located just around the corner from the museum and is conveniently located to a number of other attractions. It is also nearby a delightfully funky neighborhood of restaurants and shops called "Carytown." (or something like that.) Though...

Charming B&B, beautifully furnished, a great location. On the edge of the Fan, a few blocks from Carytown and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. A number of restaurants at short walking distance. Our room was very pretty and comfortable. The continental breakfast offered lots of fresh fruit, bagles, english muffins, bread, hard-boiled eggs, etc. There were plenty of cold...

This is a wonderful B&B in the heart of the Museum District near Carytown. You can walk to many of the attractions in Richmond. We stayed in the Cellar...if it is available, it is a great room! Full living room and seperate bedroom, cool in the summer and I'm sure cozy in the winter. We saw all the other rooms...

We enjoyed our stay at the One Bed & Breakfast. The rooms were clean, with lovely fun furnishings. The breakfast was continental style, and more than adequate for our needs. I liked that there was a refrigerator and shelf in a hospitality room with drinks and snacks for us, especially appreciated on the very hot (100 degrees plus) days we...

We saw this place while schlepping around Richmond in early July. When we decided to come back in August to see our son we decided to stay. Such an easy set up! We did everything online. I had an email instantly telling me the code to get in the door. Everything was waiting and inviting when we arrived after hours....

The One Bed and Breakfast is a fabulous place to stay. The location is excellent and it is only a short walk to Monument Ave. We were in the Slumber Suite and our brother and sister-in-law were in the Dream Suite. Both were tastefully decorated and shared a small verandah , ideal for relaxing outside. We had access to a...
