My now husband and I had the pleasure of celebrating the most important day of our lives at Historic Mankin Mansion, our wedding weekend. We do not have enough good things to say about our stay. The staff, which became like family members were fantastic and the overall experience was one that we will never forget! I recommend this site...

From the moment me and my wife met with Martin on our tour of the Mansion, almost a year before the wedding, we knew we were in for a treat. We had several other places in mind to go look at but every other location paled in comparison. The professionalism put forth by Martin, Paula, and Marylee is unmatched. I've...

We chose Historic Mankin Mansion for a one-night stay to celebrate our 30th anniversary because it was close to home yet promised a real getaway feel. When we made the reservation, we asked about a quiet spot where we could enjoy a picnic we packed. We never expected the lovely setting that Martin and Paula provided, complete with a table...

We held our daughter’s wedding at Mankin Mansion and it turn out wonderfully. The grounds were beautifully decorated and the owners and staff were professional taking care of every detail. A couple of our guests commented that it was like a “Hollywood wedding.” If we had a second daughter we’d have her wedding at Mankin Mansion. As part of the...

We enjoyed our weekend! Our host and hostess were gracious. We felt comfortable and at home. The kids thought the game room and pillow room were the best.

“The Carriage House was romantic and cozy. The only negative is that it is closest to the road, which is a bit loud during early evening and during the day. It gets quiet at night.”

“The Jefferson Suite is very spacious...has 2 rooms in it. The double shower is a must! The room has everything that you need and a few extras! Gets a little chilly at night....the room is adjacent to the lobby, so you do hear some talking at times, but wasn't an issue at all.”
