If you're travelling to Cambridge or anywhere in Boston for a night or two and have very little luggage, I'd recommend this hotel. It is extremely clean and well-located, near transit, restaurants, and city life. We stayed a bit longer and had lots of luggage, and the room was simply too small for us. We felt like we were living inside one of our suitcases.

This is a good mid-range hotel. It is modern, clean and conveniently situated for transport. Porter Square Star Market is a five minute walk away for supplies and its a 20 minute walk to Harvard. The walk in shower was excellent. My deluxe twin room was spacious enough for one person but could be a bit cramped for two. There is very limited space to hang or pack clothes. I chose this room because of all the windows that were shown for the room on the hotel's website. The room I was given however only had a single window. I would rather recommend a top floor suite. I would not recommend Colette, the on site restaurant which was disappointing and pricy. The lasagne I ordered was someone's personal take on lasagne with undercooked pasta.

Overall very good experience. Booked last minute based on location and called ahead to inquire about early check-in. To my surprise, not only was I checked in early, but also upgraded to a spacious suite with modern sparkling clean bathroom with silky robes and slippers. Living room and bedroom were good size too. The hotel definitely has character and gives strong New England vibe. The hotel staff is super friendly, called me a taxi early morning, always with smiles. There is a bar in the lobby that was busy Friday evening. Location is very good in Cambridge, lots of eateries and stores within walking distance. The downside: the hallways are a bit dark and the elevator was not working Saturday morning, and there is only one. Overall definitely good value and would stay again.

I was visiting my daughter but her apartment is too small for guests so I booked this nearby hotel and was very happy The front desk was always staffed and helpful The rooms tho small were clean modern and functional with high quality bed and bedding The bathroom was very nice Everything was clean. The neighborhood is safe I walked easily to several dining options. There is valet parking but I didn’t use. Quiet. Safe in room. No fridge. Nice lighting with reading lights. Front staff arranged a taxi for me I will be coming back

This hotel is in a great location, Safe and busy... My wife and I went to a concert at the Crystal Ballroom last week and this hotel was 0.6 miles away. Cannons and Madi Sipes. An easy walk. Check-in was quick and friendly. Parking is by valet, $28/day plus tip. The room was small, but extremely comfortable. The shower had a large head that dropped straight down rather than from an angle. The bed was very comfortable too. Checkout is at noon as well. Not 10 AM like most hotels. We were also allowed to leave my truck in the garage after checkout. We walked the 1 mile to the Harvard campus and left around 2 PM.

Cute and tiny room. Very clean. Wished there was an actual closet. Bed was comfy, but sometimes moved a little off the frame when I sat down since there was no box spring. The first valet when we got there was very nice and helpful. The second valet just drove our car up to us and left after he got his tip, did not even offer to help us with our luggage. But overall, stay at this hotel was enjoyable.

We reserved the Petite Double Twin, which was clean, beautiful, and nicely appointed. The room was small, but perfect for an overnight stay. The mattresses and pillows were supportive and comfortable. No troubles for my back. I'm glad we brought sleep masks, as the clock and thermostat displays were bright, in the otherwise dark room. I wish that the $28 valet parking fee had been clearly disclosed upfront. Overall, it offered a great night's sleep. We will come again!

We had a room with two twins and it's not exaggerating to say the beds took up 90% of the real estate in the room. The bathroom is equally tiny. If you can get past that, however, the hotel was great. Front staff was super helpful and pleasant, rooms were clean and we had the basement area with computers to ourselves on a weekend where we could sit and have a few drinks. Great French restaurant on the main floor (and when the employees came downstairs to eat they all spoke French which made me feel better about authenticity) that has drinks and a good, small menu. Less than 5 minute walk to the train, a Target and CVS. Great location that is close to lots of restaurants but still very quiet. Our room was next to the elevator and we didn't hear it once. Would definitely come back if you're looking for a relatively no-frills hotel for a reasonable price in a city that doesn't have many options for reasonably-priced rooms.

The clerk at the front desk was friendly and check in was quick. We reserved a room with two twin beds and the room was quite small. The bathroom was particularly small and for some, could be tight. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room contained a little closet and a jacket hanging rack along with a little table. The location was quite good, within an easy walk to the Porter T stop and with several restaurants within easy walking distance. If you take the T to the hotel, once exiting the T, turn right, walk a short distance, and you will see it on the opposite side of the road, approx. across from the side of Panera and after CVS.

This hotel bills itself as a boutique hotel. I expected something akin to a Kimpton, with small rooms but other charming features. It’s just small rooms, like, the size of the bed small. We had a suite for a couple and our teen and the second room had a sofa, but not a bed. The staff was very helpful to bring a roll away bed for us, but even with two rooms, we felt cramped and cranky. Room was quiet from street noise, even tough facing busy Mass Ave (a/c was very loud). Furniture is all banged-up particle -board faux wood and bathrooms tiny as well. Room and common spaces clean but not as clean as what I would expect - visible dust. We chose the hotel because of proximity to universities but I think next time will stay closer to Boston. No covid protection with staff besides plexiglass at front desk (staff unmasked).
