Boasting the biggest room that we stayed in through all of Italy, Hotel Al Posta was a sweet little hotel. We stayed there because we were visiting family that lived nearby, and it was upon their recommendation that we booked. I had initially tried calling, but given that my Italian is not up to snuff, we settled for email contact to book the room. The staff was more than accommodating about everything.

We stayed during the July heat wave, and were very grateful for the air conditioning. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was warm and wonderful. Knowing that we were coming in on a Friday afternoon, they got an English speaking clerk to check us in, which was greatly appreciated. The rest of the weekend, whenever we needed to speak with someone, we got by with what little Italian we knew and what little English they knew, as well as plenty of hand gestures, and it all worked out great.

We greatly enjoyed our stay there, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we ever visit Casarsa Della Delizia.

Recently stayed a night at this charming hotel recommended to us by our daughter. It is obvious why she suggested we stay there...it is warm and friendly and the owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They even took time to drive us in their own personal vehicle to a restaurant because it was raining. Lovely family run facility! We would love to go for a longer stay next time. This is off the beaten path for tourist so the language barrier was a bit more difficult but we worked that out. Great place!

For convenience, hotel is adequate. Not 3* standard, more like 2*. Stayed 5 nights and rates good. Restaurant/bar was shut for renovations, so no after-hours eating facility. Inconvenient as town shuts down from Saturday noon to Tuesday morning. First room overlooked church campanile and bells rung every morning and evening and occasionally during the day. Door lock faulty so were locked out on day 3 and were moved to another room overlooking the main road. Rooms old and reasonably clean, bedside lamp missing, exposed light fittings in bathroom. Reception often unmanned. Only Italian channels on TV. No English spoken.

I specifically informed in advance we would be arriving late, and even called them. When we got there, nobody was there to help us. They left the key inside the closed gate, which the gate needs the key to open, and no receptionist. We also left the request to clean and change the towels, and nope. The room was untouched, no clean towels. If they all this a "hotel", there should be someone to assist us. The room was not so clean, the shower did not drain, old carpet, old furniture. A very noisy vending machine in the hallway keeps waking us up. I was very disappointed. It used to be a really nice hotel and restaurants, but the owner changed and since then, well, not a place to stay any more. I will never go back there again and would not recommend to anyone.

Giovanna

The potential for this hotel and location is there but they missed it on every point. When we arrived there was no one at the desk and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to arrive, at which point they seemed put out that we disturbed them. The room was basic (which was fine with us) but the beds were terrible. The hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday evening but so is everything else in the town so there is no where to go. We ended up eating potato chips from the vending machine which did not work until the desk person came up and fixed it. Door lock to the room was faulty, toilet did not flush properly, Comp Wi-Fi but it was inconsistent.

Sigg. Unitamente allo staff tutto auguro Buona Vita. Giovanna

This is my second visit to this hotel which is off the beaten track, but in a nice position for touring, either the mountains and local towns in the region as well as being just over a one hour drive from the Adraitic coast. The hotel offers a friendly service with English spoken, it has clean functional rooms with en suite facilities, the restaurant offers very good wholesome regional dishes, from a reasonable menu offering a good variety of choices that will not break the bank, and are served by friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is buffet style and plentiful, the hotel also has a bar, that is open at reasonable times. The hotel fits the bill for someone wanting good clean accomodation at reasonable cost in a quiet location that has ample private car parking within the courtyard, and yet two minutes walk takes you into the Piazza with shops, bars, pizzeria's and small restaurants, Pordenone and Udine are short drives away, and a one hour journey by train from the station in the Casarsa takes you to Venice, so it is a hassle free and cheap way to spend time in that beautiful city without taking the car. I am impressed with the hotel and will most definately use it again, bookings and reservations are taken over the telephone from the UK and they accept Visa in payment for meals and the accomodation, ATM's are in the Piazza should you need cash. Recommended.

Recently we stayed at this hotel for a few days. Finally, after the tiring day that we had, we found the perfect place to stay and to relax. Everything about this hotel is perfect,The staff, the hospitality, the atmosphere, the rooms, the service. We've been looking for a place like this for so long, and we found this hidden treasure. The staff was caring and they helped us a lot with everything, like: schedules, or tourist guides and they always were asking us what could they do to help us have a great time while we stayed there. The hotel and its rooms were very cozy, and they gave us the feeling like we were home. The garden of the hotel was beautiful, the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon. This time, we went there as a couple, but next time, we will bring all of our family with us, so that our children can have a fantastic time like we did. We would recommend this Hotel to our relatives, to our friends and to anyone that wants to spend unforgettable days in this little Italian Paradise.

I had recently spent three nights in this simple but lovely hotel and I strongly recommend it. It is family run by a nice and warm welcoming landlord, ready to satisfy promptly any request.
It is centrally located and there are few restaurants at walking distance. Extremely money for value with wifi complimentary.

Wise choice if you are around
