I would agree with some other reviews that this hotel is a bit off the beaten track compared to other Fosshotels but still withing a resonable driving distance from Snaefellness. It was clean and comfortable but a little dated compared to other Fosshotels, we particularly liked the the private bathroom with the natural hot water from the springs and the...

By "accident", we booked this hotel for the purpose of seeing northern light based on cloud coverage report and our route. Didn't realize that the detour was about 30min drive off Ring Road. It turned out to be a big surprise of our Iceland trip. Although the hotel is located in a rather remote area, the staffs, especially front desk...

We stayed at 14 different hotels during our trip and I have to say this was probably one of my least favorite. Plan your arrival accordingly. We arrived at 2 and were told check in was at 4. We walked around the beautiful grounds for awhile and were able to get into a room around 3:15. The staff were very...

We stayed at this chain throughout our trip. This hotel was a serene countryside hotel with beautiful grounds, however, the interior needed major updating. We were used to the modern Fosshotels. Our room was ok, but it had an odor and the water out of the tap didn't taste very good. I would think the training of the staff and...

Arrived early afternoon from Reykjavik. Reception staff friendly but not overly joyful. We had one night stay, rooms very comfortable and of good size. Bathtub was a bonus for me being a lover of baths

We only used this hotel as a stop over as there's not much to do around the area, although a few touristy sites and a nice little church and walk. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious. The food was amazing, and cheap drinks 5-7 in happy hour! Breakfast was good, and lots of parking. Highly recommend...

Pleased with the spacious rooms that included a settee, but woof only worked in hotel lobby. Large screen TV, but only one channel available. Great breakfast with wide choice. Evening meal also good. Staff keen to please & courteous.
