The accomodation is a very nice place to stay. There are 2 houses, in both everything you would have in your own living room and kitchen at home. There is even a tramboulin and a small pool outside with warm water, the water is geothermic. Very clean and the facilieties just as at your own home. Nice breakfast included, a...

Do not let the shared bathroom, the guesthouse is top-notch; friendly staff, clean and very charming atmosphere, great location. It is offered accommodation in a loft overlooking the valley, while a short distance there are geothermal greenhouses. Top!

We stayed for one night in this guesthouse while on a road trip around Iceland. It's a little drive away from the main area but has such beautiful surroundings. They have a hot pot on the verandah and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in there with a drink while we looked on at the amazing view! I would definitely stay here...

We stayed here just for one night. Short of an occasional whinny from a horse, it is super quiet. The bed in our room was the most comfortable in all our travels. Our hostess was very accommodating and set up a laptop for my husband to use for the evening. Breakfast was adequate and we stopped to say hello to...

Very clean, modern accommodations. Comfortable beds. Good shower facility with blow dryer. Unlimited hot water. Breakfast was included and there were various delicious options. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. Cats and horses add to the experience.

Dalbaer is a peaceful oasis of verdant farmland. The owners were helpful and nice. Breakfast was great. Our room upstairs had a rustic porch and huge windows that looked out over the splendid countryside. The usual small beds with comforters and down pillows. Ask for this charming room. There is one bathroom for the upstairs rooms - a French couple...

We stayed here on our second night in Iceland and weren't disappointed. The guesthouse was clean, warm and quite charming. Three cute little bedrooms upstairs (very, very narrow staircase, FYI), and a nice full kitchen, sitting area and bathroom on the main floor. After our first night in Iceland (Reykjavik), it was wonderfully quiet. Breakfast was at the owner's house...

During a three week self-drive tour all around Iceland, Guesthouse Dalbær was our first experience with an Icelandic Farmhouse/Guesthouse. It was a perfect start! The house was spotless, the rooms were comfortable, the view was amazing, the breakfast was delicious, and the owner was very friendly. The guesthouse consists of a living room, bathroom, kitchen, and three bedrooms. The stairs...

This was our first experience with Iceland Guesthouses. The owners were so pleasant and helpful. It was spotlessly clean (make sure you take your shoes off; a common courtesy at all guest houses) and quite spacious, with a living room, full kitchen and bath downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Note: very steep steps going upstairs. Breakfast was served in the...

A bit tricky to find, but then again it was my first day of driving in Iceland. This family run B&B is delightful. My room was upstairs and had a lovely view of farmland and beyond. Sharing a bathroom with occupants of one other room did not present a problem and breakfast was plentiful, fresh and relaxed. The highlight was...
