We stayed in one of the cabins along the fjord. The place was charming as were the owners. They even had an orphaned artic fox named Erasmus. It was wild but stayed close and loved to play with their old dog. The cabins were tiny and the bedrooms were up a ladder so not for those with big mobility issues...

Yes, I know i used that review title before, but it is true. We had three "favorites". This one is tied with another for our top choice. Lovely little cabins right on the water. The location is perfect - - just on the outer edge of town. Close to the grocery store and other amenities. When we arrived, the owners...

We stayed in one of the new cottages nearest to the road and it was perfect! Clean, comfertable, good beds, nice room. We even met the house-fox who played with the owners dog. View in the fjord is beautifull onlyvie to the village is industril so for us a little less. There is a maintenence building with a washingmachine dryer...

Amazing place, very clean cottages with spectacular view. And the hot tub with view directly to the fjord. Clean, fully equipped, great working wifi. If you are lucky - the owners have little domesticated fox, which is just super cute! Fully recommend the cottages, simply the best location on East of Iceland.

I booked this guesthouse and when I showed up at the door they told me they lost my conformed reservation and sent me away. Fortunate for us we jumped on booking.com and fond an alternate about 60 miles away.

Probably the best place we stayed in Iceland! The location is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. The red cabins are very clean and the kitchen has every thing you need. The hosts are very nice and helpful. The guesthouse is children friendly. Our kids loved running around playing with the owner's friendly dog.

Spent 4 nights here this spring on a ski touring trip of the East Fjords. The cabins are outstanding and all have views over the fjord. Awesome place for families and the hot tub on the beach with the ocean a few meters away is quite something. But what really makes this place totally awesome are the hosts Berglind and...

This place is amazing! With the landscape and the quietness away from the town (5 mins drive), it is what you need for an ideal escape from the busy life. You will get to try the funkiest hotpot in iceland!

As stated in the myriad other reviews, the property is situated in a picturesque location. The cottages are well kept and well equipped. The hosts were warm and welcoming. I adored their dog Stella. She was quite the charmer. Too bad that we stayed for a night only and that too a real stormy one. The only downsides were the...

Cottage is clean and very comfortable. It does looks like two types of cottages available. We suspect the 6 person ones has all their beds upstairs, and nice lounge sofa downstairs with old fashion CRT TV (surprisingly usable and very nostalgic, with what seems to be 3 channels on it). Comes complete with cooking facilities including an oven(!). We stayed...
