Our room was great and spacious. We appreciated that the clerk made sure we had a functioning mini-fridge when he saw we were traveling with small children. We were worried about overall noise levels upon arrival, but were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Breakfast was delicious and well-stocked, too! My only complaint was a large group of teenage boys with loud music in the pool/hot tub area at 8:30-9 o'clock, which did not make us feel comfortable letting our young kids swim in the pool.
The customer service was excellent. issues were remedied immediately. Housekeeping was limited though. The pool was very warm which was nice for us older people and the hot tub was very hot. We had a double Queen suite and the bedroom part was extremely large. The living room area was very small and could have used an additional chair. The love seat was a tad uncomfortable but was also a hide-a-bed. I could have used a little less bedroom and more “living” space. We took breakfast up to the room and it was tough to find space enough for 4 people to eat. Overall, we will be returning. Breakfast was included. Sorry I forgot pictures.
Room 307 was a dump!! We booked with the hotel.com app shortly upon arrival. Once the clerk realized we booked with hotels.com she switched the room number, that was red flag one. The room needs a thorough cleaning. We ran the ac on 66 all night and never needed to cover up. The toilet bowl wasn't clean, never seen that before. Extremely disappointed in CHOICE hotels!!!!!
My wife and I booked a room with a king memory foam bed. We arrive to find out that there was memory foam mattress in the room assigned. They lied and offer no breakfast so them advertising breakfast is a flat out lie. And even though we prepaid online, and no mention of it on their website, A 100.00 cash deposit is required for damages. Now to the room…. We took a long and arduous journey through the hallway that smelled of a curious mix of mildew, hot mayonnaise and eau de nursing home. After surviving and making it to our room to get a reprieve from the odd and offensive odors we were met with a punch in the nose from an overwhelming smell of weed. Although it brought back memories of my youth, it’s not something I want to smell for the entire stay. If that was not bad enough, the couch was stained, the headboard and bed was broken. The food of the bed was higher than the head. Right away we took pictures and video of the damage and called the front desk. The front desk clerk came up and was surprised how bad this recently cleaned room was. Because of the condition of the room we were told the room wasn’t able to be occupied. We asked for a different room but it was sold out and we had to find our own accommodations. We were told we would get a refund but tried to not refund the extra 100.00 we gave for incidentals and damages. We eventually got that back too. Luckily we found another room at a different hotel as they were all pretty much sold out. Avoid this place.…
This is a typical Comfort Suites motel but the manager makes this a cut above the rest. She was friendly and outgoing and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She was holding a manager's night with free dinner and drinks. We had lasagna, garlic bread, chicken salad and crackers plus beer. There was also live entertainment. It made for a nice night in after a long day out in the sun.
Friendly staff, clean hotel, great breakfast options, plenty of snack items to purchase if needed.. room was very clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable this was our first time staying at this brand and will definitely try them again!
We stayed here for a couple of nights while taking in as much Lincoln as we could. I give a rating of 4 to chain hotel locations that live up to chain standards, five if they're even better, lower if they fall short. This location was on the edge of a 3 rating because their wi-fi was horrid. Specifically, I don't mind logging in with a password when I arrive--though in many Choice Hotels I haven't even had to do that, lately. It's also a bit of a pain if I have to log in again on subsequent days. But this wifi required me to log in EVERT TIME I opened my Chromebook. Often the login window would not load automatically and I'd have to disconnect and re-connect. Somebody needs to upgrade the service, because even when I was on, it was often slow, freezing up when I was in the middle of things. What saved them from getting dinged was their staff, in particular Barbara at the front desk. Choice Hotels always has a good level of service, but this young person was impressive--the place is short-staffed, and she was moving with urgency and purpose above what I usually see. Ihope the management realizes what an asset she is. Otherwise, it was a pretty normal stay for a Comfort.…
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The staff was limited, but incredibly nice, friendly and so helpful. The pool water was warm, but a little cloudy. (The kids didn't care a bit!) We stayed in a double queen suite. Huge bedroom, but living space was small. My only complaint was the sleeper sofa. 1 of my kids wanted to sleep on it to avoid having to share a bed with their sibling. When I opened it up, the mattress was DISGUSTING. Looked like dried blood and I don't know what else on it. Great location to a lot of attractions and many restaurants in the area.
Walking through the entryway to the hotel we were met with the smell of lasagna and garlic bread. This was part of the complimentary offerings as well as two beverages. A cold beer tasted good after a 6 hour trip. Sarah, the manager on duty made everyone in our group feel very welcomed. This hotel was very clean and maintained. Our king size bed was very comfortable. The breakfast included scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and ham along with the usual waffles and cereal and fresh fruit. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again!
We always stay at Comfort Inns and this one was one of the best. The staff was friendly, it was clean (newly renovated it looks like), and the breakfast had a lot of choices and the breakfast area was kept clean. The pool was nice, too. It's close to all tourist areas. Highly recommend!
