This hotel didn't look like much driving up, but it was surprisingly modern inside. The views from my room patio were amazing (golf course and mountain range). The food we had at dinner was delicious. The rooms were standard size, clean and the bathroom had the most wonderful soaps. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. Wi-Fi connection...

Stayed in this hotel as part of our tour of Iceland. Rooms are comfortable. I had a single room and was by myself and the room provided me was comfortable for me. Service at the restaurant is quite slow. Took forever to get started with our dinner. Maybe that's just the Icelandic way And breakfast options left a lot to...

This hotel was provided on an around Iceland tour. It was a gorgeous sunny afternoon, when we arrived, with sun streaming into the ground level room. This hotel is totally single story, with a golf course on one side, and magnificent views to the mountains on the other. What a lovely site for an hotel; so quiet and peaceful The...

Zero complaints about this place - we found it to be yet another great entry in the list of well-conceived Icelandair hotels. This one was where we ended our 2-week road trip around Iceland, before going to Reykjavik, and it was the perfect room to end the journey, as it was spacious, clean, comfortable, and the floor even seemed to...

We stopped here as we neared the end of our circuit round Iceland. It was quiet with a view to the golf course. Room was simple, but clean and warm. Bedding was nice and the bed comfortable. Restaurant offers a very limited menu and nothing substantial gluten free, so we drove the 5km to Borgarnes and had a good meal...

Icelander Hotels are all very nice. This one had a great view facing the mountains. Very quiet. Only one floor, so no one is above you. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was a standard buffet, but still very good.

My wife and I stayed two nights at this hotel at the beginning of our tour of Iceland. The hotel is located a little out of town on a golf course but Borgarnes is centrally located for those who want to circumnavigate the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and/or go to Deildartunguhver to view hot and cold springs and waterfalls on the Hvita...

We stayed for 2 nights at this property and were extremely delighted with our stay. Was certainly way better than an average 3-star property in terms of the quality of experience you can get here. We loved the outdoor hot bath-tubs which were conveniently located right outside our room and have water coming into them from a nearby hot-water spring....

Myself and two friends stayed at the Icelandair Hotel Hamar on our first night in Iceland and we absolutely loved it. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We needed the use of the sofa bed as there was three of us and they set that up within the first 10 minutes of us being there. The room itself was...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during our Northern Lights Exploration Tour in February. We arrived after an action packed day at about 17:30 and just wanted to chill out for a bit and relax before dinner at 19:00. However, that was quite difficult in our room as it was absolutely freezing - so much so that I...
