We were in the big cottage, perfect for family. It was really clean, everything that you need. Full equipped kitchen. Quirky decorations makes a cosy atmosphere. we were lucky enough to see amazing northern lights all around. there is even a little hot tub if you have the big cottage. The welcoming was nice, the family who is in the...

We've got a cottage for 4 persons. It was obviously an older cottage but inside the kitchen, furniture and beds were refurbished. It was clean, well equipped en much space. The beds were very comfortable for cottages. Kitchen was new and very complete. The deck was old but well kept, nice view. Hottub was present on the deck. Only the...

Cottages are with a farm and yu have to get your key at the main house. We got the first cottage at the right front next to the horses and that was OK.But the outer door coudn't be locket. It was broken. The other door can be locked but if you have to go to the bathroom at night you...

Views of the Eldborg Crater, the mountains and the ocean. Its a convenient place to stay when heading up to the Snaefellsnes. The Hike to the Crater is a fairly easy hike, with great view of the area. Washrooms are warm and clean. The showers look very tired. The kitchen area looks like it can accommodate quite a few people....

We had a four bedroom unit which is spacious and come with two toilets (a bonus as most 3-room apartments in Iceland have only one toilet/bathroom for sharing). The place is just opposite Eldborg Crater, making it the perfect place to stay if you want a morning hike to the crater. The cabins are relatively far apart, which provides privacy....

Very cosy, northern light was very clear to see from our porch!! Super friendly people. The summer house was already warm when we arrived. There is a kitchen, you can cook a meal and there is coffee :)

We stayed here on our ring road journey. We were 3 couples so we stayed in the large red house. It is 4 bedrooms. Full kitchen, living room and dining area. This was our next to last night and it was so nice because there is a bath and a half! This place is about 30 minutes off the ring...

This is located a little off of ring road 1, but is clearly marked and easy to find. We stayed in a well stocked, very comfortable guesthouse. Just outside the door you could see eldborg volcanoe, horses and sheep. That evening around midnight the northern lights put on a show that we will never forget. They don't offer any food,...

What can I say, this has got to be one of the most welcoming places I have ever been. The family is exceptionally welcoming and the bungalows/chalets are beyond charming. Great value for the price! You can visit the animals in the stables and they are very friendly. As you might know, animals reflect their owners, so even they give...

A group of 4 of us stayed in the private cabins for one night at the beginning of April. The main reason we had picked these accommodations was because of the horseback riding, as well as the hot tub. When we arrived, we were disappointed to discover that horseback riding is only offered in the summer, and the hot tub...
