Staying with Judy and Jim is feeling at home immediately. We have spent two times with our four children during our Alaska Trip several days at this perfect B&B. Jim is helpful whenever you need him, and together with Judy they make you feel really comfortable in their nicely decorated and well maintained home. But beyond staying overnight and having... Location near the airport was perfect. cabs were inexpensive so we didn't have to rent a car. Judy's home is immaculate (red apple themed family room) and their home became our home for a week. Jim and Judy gave helpful advice on tourist attractions and routings. We enjoyed this B and B very much. (When the clouds finally lifted, the... More

Once again, hats off to my fellow Trip Advisor reviewers for making my job so easy. You don't have to be Einstein to know that if hundreds of people have given the best rating to a place, then this is the place for you. Jim and Judy seem more like extended family than anything else, and this after an all... More

My family of four and I stayed with Jim and Judy from 7/29 to 8/1 2016 in the "Nautical Room" which is basically your own nautically themed 1000 plus square foot apartment with private bath dry bar, pool table the works. A last minute scheduling change on our part necessitated one night in a different room and Jim and Judy... More

I met Jim and Judy at brunch with a friend. They were some of the first people I had met in Alaska. I am a 27 year old woman traveling alone from Ireland. We feel very fortunate to have stayed with Jim and Judy. The property is located in a nice neighborhood and it is easy to drive to/from the airport. Jim and Judy were excellent hosts and made us feel like we were part of their family and not just someone paying to stay at their home. They are easy to communicate... More

Lynn, thanks for the kind review. You folks had some great adventures on your trip. Rain or shine, Alaska has great scenery and adventures for everyone. And many find the somewhat cooler temperatures a welcome relief from an overheated summer elsewhere. More

Absolutely spotless and extremely clean. We stayed at this place last year and Jim was very kind offering us to store our motorbike until our next visit. Delicious home made breakfast, hospitality and all very warm welcoming. Would stay here again. Highly recommended.

Olga, your staying with us was a treat. I have told many visitors about your adventure of cycling from the tip of South America to the northern most point on the highway system in Alaska. Guests marvel at your endurance. Thanks for taking time for the review. More

Thanks. Since we also raised 3 daughters, it just felt so good to have you here. That engine order telegraph is a link with the past as those were the standard in the '50's and 60's when I was sailing. A way for the bridge and engine room to communicate. More
