From e-mails to goodbye, City Garden was wonderful. Vic responded promptly and answered all my questions, including offering good advice as to how to get to the bed and breakfast upon arriving in Anchorage via taxi. I removed my shoes at the door as requested – great idea – and proceeded to my room. All three guest rooms are on...

We stayed three nights with Vic in early August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable bed, spacious and clean rooms and tasty breakfasts. Vic very knowledgeable about where to visit and eat. Very appreciative of his kindness in driving us to buses etc. Handy walking distance to city. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely time at this B&B, the room was wonderful and the location was excellent. The best part was the graciousness of our host, Vic. He served great breakfasts and was very helpful not only suggesting things to do but making sure we could get places. he is a great conversationalist and very knowledgeable about Alaska. I have...

We agree with all the other good reviews. We had a lovely comfortable room. City Garden B&B is in a pleasant area and a good position for walking to the museum, etc. Vic was so very helpful in every respect. I don't know if he will always be in a position to store your luggage but he did so for...

We were here during Sep 2012 for 2 days. It was our first time staying in a B&B. We got the room which shares a bath with one other room. Sharing a bath was no problem as the other person's schedule did not interfere with ours. Our room was clean. The house has excellent decorations. Vic made excellent breakfasts. He...

Everywhere you looked in the house could have led to a discussion on its own. Very intresting decorating. My husband and I would stay again...

Great location on Delaney Park is an easy walk to the downtown restaurants and attractions. We drove up to Denali N.P. without even a glimpse of the mountain, but after returnng here we could see it clearly right from our bedroom window! Victor is an amazing innkeeper who provides not only great breakfasts but much appreciated travel advice and Alaska...

Stayed 3 nights total over 2 visits. The location is perfect for walking around town. We didn't have a car and had no problems. Vic always had a wonderful breakfast ready for us when we asked. The rooms were exactly as described on the website. He was even kind enough to take us to the train station on the morning...

No need to look further than this fabulous B&B. We enjoyed staying at City Garden on either side of our Kenai Peninsula tour and got to experience all three beautiful guest rooms. Although the room with the private bath was exceptional, the two "shared bath" rooms were equally clean and comfortable. Excellent location with an easy walk to everything downtown....
