We literally just slept here, and were gone all day sight seeing. There was a restaurant, no included breakfast, there was a mini sink and fridge, and the air conditioner was a window one and it didn't get that cold either.

cnschwab, Thanks for sharing your experience with us. It sounds like you had a satisfactory stay, I'm sorry you didn't get more time with us as the restaurant you mentioned is STELLAR. Such is an Alaska vacation at times though, a lot of ground to cover in a short period of time. Please make sure to come back and see...

I stayed here for one night after I landed in Anchorage after a really long flight. I was tired and cranky and once I arrived at the hotel I discovered that my card wasn't working. The girl at the reception was amazing with me: she helped me out with nice words and making the computer available to me so I...

Location very close to downtown area. Hotel is definitely in need of refurbishment (very outdated) but fine for a few nights. Price is very descent compared to some of the other hotels that ask top dollar (and are ALSO in need of refurbishment - as we stayed in some of them). Parking is right in front of hotel, convenient. Room...

We had the pleasure to dine at the onsite hotel restaurant. Very attentive server, offering meals from fresh local products - we enjoyed delicious mushroom & saffron ravioli and just perfectly prepared rib eye steak. A great value and a fun experience. Recommended.

We visited the hotel restaurant during our Anchorage visit. We were really surprised by an excellent service and high end dining experience. We just loved the scallops and wonderful smoked salmon with quail eggs. The selection of desserts including gluten free option was perfect as well. Even manager of the restaurant stopped by and checked satisfaction of guests. We found...

Larger suite good for families with dining table for those who eat in...and that us important since there few places to eat within walking distance other than the saganaya grocery store. Otherwise..decent room w nice beds and views.slow elevators and average check in staff.

Stayed here as the base hotel for an Intrepid trip. Better than average building, nice rooms, good restaurant. The front desk varied: some efficient staff, some new staff. This would be a fine place to stay if you can get a good price, but don't expect luxury.

We stayed in room 309. The hotel and room were somewhat dated, but the room was clean. The view out of our room was of the parking lot so nothing exciting there, but we didn't base our stay on our view. The bathroom was very small with the toilet and shower right next to each other. The step into the...

The place is decent. It looked like an old establishment. It wasn't a luxurious stay but we were in our room only at nights(we spent the whole day sightseeing). It was convenient location for us, close to restaurants and downtown.(We had our own vehicle for moving around). The room was a bit cramped but all essentials were available- hot water,...

Vishnupriya, Thanks for telling us about your experience. We pride ourselves on being a great value in the Anchorage market and it sounds like we were able to come through for you there. A note to other travelers: we just finished with the install of a new Wifi system in late August and things are running fantastically now!

This is an old hotel that appears to be trying to upgrade slowly. The rooms are small but clean and bed is adequate for a one night stay. The Elevators are extremely slow so don't expect to be in any hurry. As some have noted there are stains on the carpet and the bathtubs require a step ladder to get...
