We stayed in a 2 room duplex apartment for 3 nights in September 2018. The location is great for exploring the Calvados, And Upper Normandy regions. We used it as a base to visit the D Day beaches and Points of interest which are around 40 mins to 90 mins away depending which

The accommodation hallway really smelt bad, I think it’s mainly cooking smells as there is no extractor fans over the cookers! On the point of extractor fans there isn’t one in the bathrooms, I know it’s illegal not to have them in the UK. It made them smell horrible too.The

the location did not meet our expectations at all. The appartment was spacious but the decoration was outdated and the bathroom was dirty and stinking. Pool area is much smaller that we thought and the pools were not heated as it is described on the website. This was very

We stayed in a 2 bed house. It was fine but more shabby/worn than the photos on the website. Bedrooms are very small. The fridge had a terrible smell and we asked for it to be cleaned. But the smell stayed. When I checked there was some congealed cream at the back of the fridge

I stayed with my dog only to visit nearby locations... wasn´t bad but for the money I would expect a bit more. Renovation of the bathroom and adding air-condition would help. Though people were very nice

do I need to hire a car to see sights, restaurants, shops etc, or is public transport easy
Yes it's better. There is many many things to see and to do around. World War II memories sites are abound 20km and more...Now if you want to stay in Dives or Cabourg, you can visit everything by foot or by bike.

"Rooms are a bit on the small side but mattresses, pillows and bedding were very comfy. If you want a bit more space or if more than 2 of you would recommend staying in house, plus you get your own little garden with outdoor seating area. Our house consisted of master bedroom with large 3 door wardrobe, another bedroom with bunk beds, seperate wc and bathroom upstairs, and then downstairs was open plan kitche, diner and lounge (with sofa bed)."
"Be prepared to be cosy if you fill to maximum, get a marina view if you like the sunshine morning and afternoon. "
"If you are here in the summer and the weather is fine, you are out enjoying the area. You either have a room with a sea view or a room with a harbour view. Both would be interesting if you spend a great deal of time in the room - which we did not. The balcony is big enough to enjoy breakfast on. The sea view rooms have more sunlight."
"Easy, on one side you have the sea the other the port ask for whatever you prefer."
"High floor (there is a lift) at the front."
