Olargues is a lovely medieval small town in a scenic valley in Languedoc - but instead of having several appealing restaurants and cafés, it has just one great restaurant, Fleurs d'Olargues, one atmospheric café/bar that serves a plat du jour, a rather staid-looking hotel and a new restaurant where we'd a terrible meal. In other words, Fleurs d'Olargues is hugely...

Being a Dane I wanted to take two Swiss visitors to the restaurant, which is operated by a Danish Family. We were welcomed by two smiling and nice Danish employees, and when seated at the table we asked for fun, if we could get a Danish dish - "røde pølser" - which you even cannot get in many places in...

I had a wonderful birthday evening meal there last Thursday. The owner,Joan,is fantastic.Such a lovely warm welcome and she has brilliant wit! The food is quite frankly superior to many other restaurants. We are so lucky to have this locally.Exquisitely described and presented. In a beautifully converted building set on the banks looking at Olargues. The gardens are beautiful to sit out and gaze...

We stayed here for a night. Lovely B and B - charming old school in 1920s/30s style with floral wall paper and old fashioned dressers. Choose a room at the back of the hotel for lovely views of the river and the village (and a bit quieter away from the road). I got upgraded because the communal bathroom was having...

This was our third visit to the restaurant. Each visit has been as good as the last. On this occasion, my 4 year old Grandaughter was in attendance. The attention we received was excellent, as was the food and wine. The atmosphere was pleasant and spacious such that other guests were not troubled by the noise from other tables yet...

The setting for this B&B has to be seen to be believed.....think picture postcard. Our stay was just one night on our way west and it was ideal for our time there. It, like its floral namesake, is flowers everywhere....from the wallpaper to the bedspread...all very romantic. It's neighbouring restaurant is also a delight for breakfast and dinner. I would...

Located at the border of a small river, at the "devil's bridge", just a few steps from the center of the charming village of Olargues, this B&B is a good place to stay while crossing the Hérault region. You should choose a more expensive room if you prefer a great view on the village (superb in the evening at sunset),...

What a wonderfully enchanting resturant , over looking the river and moon light stone village ...perfect . The food was even for the second visit outstanding . The coffee machine was causing a problem so we were offered a good filter caffitere as a complementry addition to our meal. An amazing classic yet industrial style buliding with modern but intimate...
