Situated conveniently close to stadiums and local attractions, the Silver Cloud Hotel - Seattle Stadium is lauded for its prime location, especially by sports fans and event attendees. Guests have called out the hotel’s pristine cleanliness and well-appointed, comfortable rooms. While the cost of staying at the hotel, including parking and room service, can be steep during events, the amenities like a rooftop pool and valet parking are highly appreciated.
The staff receives high marks for their professionalism and friendliness, although some visitors have noted slower restaurant service. Despite occasional street noise, the atmosphere generally earns praise for quality.

Newly renovated. Beds are delish! Spacious rooms, great service. Room service is speedy and tasty. Jimmys is a great restaurant for any meal. We stay here for games or events at the stadium next door, and you can’t beat the location.

The Silver Cloud - Stadium is in an excellent location if you want a place close to the stadiums, of course, but with the free shuttle serving the main locations of downtown Seattle, it's hard to beat. The hotel is in excellent condition. We had a room on the 9th floor near the rooftop pool & jacuzzi, where free beach towels were provided. The king size bed was just right, 55" TV had the ability to link to your phone for an easy TV Guide service, and a free newspaper in the morning greeted us. The food from Jimmy's on First was excellent as was the service & staff the four times we ate there. We didn't use the fitness center, but it has a nice mix of equipment. It was best hotel experience in the last 10 years or so, hands-down.

We reserved a room on the 9th floor two doors away from the Roof Top Pool and Hot Tub, Overlooking the Sound and Century Link Field. Had the Valet take our car to it's Safe indoor parking hideaway.
And Just Enjoyed The Sites of Downtown Pike's Place Market Square.
The Shuttle Service was excellent and Jimmy's on 1st, the attached Hotel Restaurant was Excellent as Always.
Great Staff, and an Awesome overall experience.

FIrst the GOOD:
This hotel has very comfortable rooms that are very quiet, and offer very comfortable beds along with a good night sleep.
Now the BAD:
Situated next door to the stadium it obviously gets very busy when there is a major game on. But otherwise this location is undergoing major works that extend all along the waterfront. In the evenings it becomes lonely and potentially dangerous. No cafes or eating places are nearby.
The Sunday evening when we arrived at 6pm, we were told the cafe and in-room facilities were closed. A four star hotel without food. We ended up going to bed hungry.
Now the UGLY.
Covid has left so many businesses understaffed. This hotel was no different, and simple questions - such as "How do we get to Seattle West?" were mishandled. We paid USD$95.00 to get to Seattle West by taxi, only to learn later that only 200 meters away was a delightful and regular water taxi that would have transported us there and back for just $10.00 for us both.
Overall, we would excercise caution about staying at the Silver Cloud Stadium Hotel until they get over the Covid Blues and the construction is completed.

Thank you for your comments. We appreciate that you understand that not only our hotel but that many if not all hotels, restaurants and attractions are still reeling from the staffing effects of COVID-19. As we move forward, we do all we can do to recruit, hire, train and retain new team members. We apologize that the staff interaction that you had didn't provide you with the best cost effective way to get to West Seattle. We are working daily to provide and improve the services and hours available for our outlets to better serve our guests. We appreciate you patience and understanding during this process. This gives us additional opportunities in which to train our team members. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.

We came into town to attend a Seahawks game—this is by far one of the best locations you can find for that specific purpose. It is a bit of a hike to Pike’s Place and true downtown Seattle but it’s a quick Uber ride or drive if that is preferred. The restaurant in the hotel is just ok, but I will say the dessert was delicious. Room service and promised service to the pool was non-existent, so it is best to go to the restaurant and just dine-in for good service/quality. The one time we did get the breakfast to go.. it was disappointing. The rooms were nice, everything worked as needed and we liked that you needed a key card to use the elevator as it added an additional layer of safety. Location is absolutely key, and our game day experience was seamless and exciting due to not having to park or navigate traffic—the price for this hotel is truly the location.

We arrived at 8pm with plans to get in, put our kids to bed and go to sleep. The room we checked in to was 80 degrees with no working fridge. After 20 minutes of trying to turn the temperature down it wasn't budging. We called the front desk and they sent someone that thought changing the air filter would help and offered to bring a new fridge. I called and requested to move rooms since it was so hot in the room and already later at night. They accommodated this request but likely it could have been solved with housekeeping earlier in the day noticing the room was set to 80 degrees.
We had asked before arrival if late check out was an option and were told to ask at the time of check in. We asked at the time of check in and were told to ask in the morning. I called in the morning at 8 am and were told there was no availability. The same thing happened with valet, we were told to ask in the morning if we could keep our car in the garage until after the 1pm baseball game. We were told valet parking check out time is the same as hotel check out. It seemed like they already knew the answer would be no as there couldn't have been that many new reservations overnight to change the answer and just was inconvenient in general in the morning to have to check with the desk and valet. We had to move our car at the time of check out, 12pm even though we were attending a 1pm baseball game and pay valet parking and then additional parking on top of it.
I would not recommend this hotel unless you are specifically looking for the location convenience being close to the stadium. For a 1pm game it doesn't make financial sense since you have to move your car unless you're staying that night. Might as well stay somewhere less expensive and just drive in and park.

Hello Heateliz, I'm sorry to hear about your stay with us and the inconvenience of having to move your car. We have made changes to our gameday policies since and we can allow the car to stay for the game now. There is an additional fee for event parking, but hopefully not the inconvenience of having to move. Best Regards, KJ Roff Hotel Manager

We stayed on a game night so the rate was nearly $400 with taxes for a standard king. But, that's simply supply and demand! :-)
The checkin line was very long, but Front Desk Associate friendly and efficient. We requested a AAA rate but were told "no".
With a national shortage of Housekeepers, we were shocked by how spotless the room was. The furnishings are dated, but it was well appointed. Mini fridge, microwave, make-up mirror (those are hard to come by and a Godsend for those of us with less than perfect vision) and a comfortable bed (apart from small lumpy pillows). The bathroom tub was a deep soaker/shower combo and actually clean enough for a bath if that's your thing. Great water pressure and Aveda soap. Only downside, towels were scarce and worn thin.
We ate dinner at Jimmy's and true to typical hotel food, it was just ok. Breakfast the following day they were short staffed and unable seat all of the tables (only fair to the Waiters and Cooks). After an hour wait, while our Server was personable, the food was just BAD. My over medium eggs were raw and slimy, the red potatoes were those frozen things you'd see on a low level 'breakfast included' buffet, bacon limp and undercooked and 'toast' was a slice of untoasted bread. Everyone's food was cold, but we sucked it up, paid the bill and went around the corner for outdoor grilled hotdogs.
All in all, proximity to T-Mobile Stadium was good but not sure we'd return.

Having stayed at the Silver Cloud on Broadway for a special occasion when I lived in Seattle, I knew another location would provide a consistently great experience.
ALL of the staff at Silver Cloud worked hard to help make my stay cozy and fabulous. Traveling during COVID can be scary, but I knew I was in good hands staying here. The hotel was tastefully decorated and spotless. My room was comfortable and downright beautiful, with a great view of Puget Sound. Loved the comforts of home (small appliances, well-maintained, good coffee and tea) and the high quality Aveda toiletries.
I relished the fantastic burgers Jimmy's has to offer downstairs, and I enjoyed the convenience of being close to everything downtown. I noticed there is even a shuttle available for peak tourist dates. Although, for safety, the pool and spa area were closed, it was still an overall relaxed and classy experience. I can't wait to enjoy those great rooftop pool/spa amenities at a later date. Seattle is a fantastic city, and you can't do better than staying at the Silver Cloud Stadium!

The hotel is situated about 30 mins walk from the centre of Seattle's oldest part of town and ideally situated for NFL, Soccer and Baseball games (stadiums are spitting distance away!). It has a good restaurant and nice pool, although the water is a little cold (the weather was nice when we were there though!). What does let it down somewhat is the 30% additional deposit that they add on when you book in for room charges you may incur, which they don't tell you about in advance. Not sure if that's standard for the US though. Additionally I found the reception staff always looked unhappy and were a little cold.

Thank you for your comments about your stay. We are pleased that you liked the pool and the restaurant. Thank you for letting us know that the team needs to do a better job at informing our guests about the additional hold on credit cards for incidental charges. Most, if not all hotels do this and we need to do a better job of communicating it to our guests. Thank you again for staying with us.

We booked and paid through Hotwire. When I checked out they said everything was good no need for a receipt as there were no charges from them. When I went to use my card later that day at the outlet mall on my way back to the boarder it was declined! When I got back to Canada and checked my statement there was a charge from the hotel for almost the price of the room. I assumed I they had accidentally charged me for the room. When I called they said the charges were for hotel services I had used. Almost $300???? We didn’t charge a thing to the room. They emailed the bill and the charges were from the restaurant and valet which we never used. There was also a weird refund on an unknown master card. Dodgy or what? Three weeks later and I still can’t get anyone to help me. They transfer me to someone in sales who can’t help then tell me the GM is on a call but will call me right away. I’m still waiting for that call. When I call back no one even picks up it just goes to the hold recording. I can understand an error in billing people make mistakes but the lack of customer care for that mistake is appalling. I wouldn’t leave anything in your room and make sure you get a receipt cause something fishy is going on at this hotel.

The pool and hot tub are open, but the number of people allowed in each area is limited by the WA State Health Department at this time. Until the Governor announces new guidelines and removes restrictions, we have to adhere to these rules. We have monitored the situation and found that our guests have been respectful of these regulations and have cooperated so that all can enjoy this wonderful amenity. We look forward when these restrictions have been removed. Thank you so much.
Our parking is valet only with as many ins and outs as you need. It is $42.00, plus tax per vehicle, per night. It is among the less expensive in Seattle. Your vehicle will be secured on site in our locked, non-public, monitored garage, with 24 hour access. Thank you.
Yes, I think til 10. This was a great place. Easy to get to walking distant to water front. Literally steps away from stadiums. I would definitely stay here again
Apologies for the delay. We saw no signs of the remodel. So it's either done, or we didn't happen into an area where it is still taking place.
My apologies we do not have a room or Suite with two bathrooms. Our bathrooms in our suites will have a sink, a stand up shower, and a tub in one. I hope this helps, please let me know if I can answer any additional questions for you! Thank you!!
