Had a great stay this week for total of 5 days. The rooms are extremely nice with private decks and comfy sheets & pillows. Saturday night they threw a cool party with music on the Pool Deck. Sarah one of Level's Hosts was super friendly and helpful! I will be back!
We loved this hotel! The pools were such a plus! Great location! Wanna go back! Great technology. The parking was a bit tricky.... however it worked out because you just had to call as requested when leaving
First off, I never normally leave reviews but after my incredible stay here I have been telling everyone I know. My sister and I stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bath room and I swear we were the first people to step foot in there. The place was immaculate!! Not only was our room beyond clean but the pools, saunas and outdoor eating areas were spotless. Please give all your housekeeping staff a raise!! We were also so impressed by your front desk staff. Everyone was so helpful and so professional. After my experience here, other hotels are gonna have to step up their game!! Thanks again and we’ll see you real soon.
Stayed here for over a month and I watched the team improve each day, focusing on customer satisfaction as they try to meet the ever so changing customer demands. The entire staff at the Level are hardworking, always ready to help, the environment is clean and the amenities are a huge plus. This is will be my go-to-staycation place in Seattle, it felt like home!
The positive: 1. Good location 2. Nice gym 3. Nice decor 4. Friendly desk staff 5. Comfortable king bed 6. Beautiful music practice room with a piano and drums The negative: 1. The alarm system had a "test" which started at 7:30 am on labor day. It went on for several minutes. Despite witnessing many guests complaining at the desk that morning, the staff on Tuesday morning said, "We were not aware of this and it wasn't authorized." Maybe, but it was clearly their recording and they did not offer to compensate us in any way. 2. Pools overcrowded with very large groups of people. 3. There are grills available and you can check out tools to use but we were told that they had to be returned clean. The ones we checked out were not clean. 4. Consistently low water pressure, Only warm water, and a leaky shower head. 5. The units are very tight. You cannot walk around the king bed and the fan blowing in the hall, which you cannot turn off, is loud. So, if you are able to close the bedroom door (some units cannot), the room gets stuffy. 6. There are alot of dogs which is fine if the owners clean up after them. But we noticed a puddle in the entrance, near the edge of a chair. We reported it right away but came back later and it was dry. So, we reported it again. Finally someone from the desk (not housekeeping) came and cleaned it up with a swifter and some spray. Overall, I would not recommend this property. Next time I will opt to stay somewhere else.…
My wife and I recently took a trip to Seattle. As we were looking at hotel options we came across Level Seattle - South Lake Union. We read several reviews of disappointed guests who had issues in their rooms, issues with the staff or issues with amenities not being available. Despite these red flags, we decided to book in good faith hoping that as a brand new property they were working out some kinks earlier in the year. Our stay was decent for the most part (minus our toilet leaking in our bathroom). However, upon reviewing my accounts after the trip I noticed the hotel had charged me twice for the stay. I called the hotel and spoke to someone in guest services, who passed my situation onto her manager. I was then told the manager had the situation under control and I’d have the charge refunded. Days went by and I had no refund. I had to call the hotel a second time and this time I spoke to the manager directly. He reacted as if this was the first time he was hearing about my problem. After “talking to his accounting team” he told me the hotel had no record of the second charge so there was nothing they could do. He did not offer me anything for my trouble and did not seem the least bit motivated to make this situation right. I was forced to take on a bunch of leg work myself with the help of my bank to get the situation remedied. So long story short, DO NOT stay at Level Seattle - South Lake Union, and if you have already I highly encourage you to check your account records to make sure they aren’t trying to rip you off the way they tried to rip me off!!!…
Had a fantastic stay in this truly exceptional hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, offering 2 beds/2 baths with a separate office/flex room, in-suite stackable washer/dryer units, a full kitchen and living area with great views. The hotel has top of the line amenities and something for everyone: 3 resort-style pools (including one indoor with sauna & steam room), exercise facilities, game rooms, family area with playscape, dog park, BBQ grilling areas and the list goes on. The hotel is located in a convenient, walkable area. We walked to Pike’s Market (15 mins) and it was an easy walk to Westlake Center, where the light rail station is located. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again next time I visit Seattle!
I travel quite frequently for business and must say this is the first hotel I’ve stayed in with this calibre of amenities anywhere in the US. First off, the hotel has 3 pools and a gym which rivals and exceeds many equinox facilities. The decor is beautiful and I would highly recommend staying here. This hotel is not to be missed when staying in Seattle.
We just had disaster after disaster staying here. First off, we arrived after a flight from the east coast to no room with our infant in tow. He was the least problematic aspect of this trip!! The night manager was trying so so hard to fix this for us, but he was clearly new and not trained on their systems, if they even have one?? It's questionable because he showed us TWO more rooms that had occupants INSIDE them. Major security and safety issues with this. We ended up getting comped a room at a nearby hotel but that meant us repacking our rental car and driving down the road about ten minutes, and then unpacking once again. At this point it was past 3am. We landed at Seatac at 10:30pm the night before...no one at Level offered us water, greeted us, or attempted to help us outside of the night manager who really tried his best and was very polite. The next morning, I received no proactive updates after being promised a call from management, so gave them a ring and really laid into some folks. They promised a room would be ready that afternoon for us, and while it was a lovely room and upgrade, my husband spent ALL day trying to fix the A/C and cool the room down from 85 degrees because we have a BABY with us. Jeez people. This place is just not worth the nightly rate for the level of service. I have stayed at Hampton Inns with much better service. Also during my husband's attempt to get our A/C fixed, he encountered a front desk employee that was extremely rude and borderline racist towards him. Again, one of many things that went wrong but it just added fuel to the fire for us. Overall - it is NOT a hotel even though that is what they are branding themselves as. The staff is a mix of corporate housing trained employees, former hotel employees that have been recently hired here, AND then apartment managers/ night managers that want nothing to do with the hotel or corporate housing guests (not that I blame them, bc the corporate housing guests all seemed pretty young and spoiled and awful to deal with in their own right.) I had to really hold my tongue when some chipper friendly employees at the front desk would ask me "how my stay was going" and I just couldn't lie. I felt bad being honest but I mean, how else will things change? This was also during the same conversation where I asked about daily housekeeping (or even just 1x or 2x during our stay) and was told it was an additional $75 charge. That is something to help THEM out, not us!!! We left dirty diapers and full trash cans for those poor housekeeping employees. So ridiculous. I will say management is working to fix these issues, but it was just too little too late for us. Especially with the staff attitudes we were dealing with.…
Excellent hotel. First class amenities and very helpful staff. The location was great and the view from our room was spectacular! Recommend this location 100%! Walking distance to Pike Market, restaurants, bars and shopping.
