On the day we arrived, an employee helped us move our luggage into our room before our check-in time for free when the luggage lockers were full. We also had service come to our room when we couldn't figure out the TV. Both times, the service was absolutely wonderful and were very friendly and nice. The location was great as well, being in the middle of the city in a nice place without having to pay $500 per night.
My husband and I stayed at the Sonder while we were visiting Seattle and we absolutely loved it. The accommodations were functional and had everything we needed. The hotel was also very clean with easy in and out access. The Capitol Hill neighborhood is the perfect place to stay for a young couple and we had the best time!
First time staying in a Sonder room. This is a great concept! All doors are locked and controlled by the access code you are given on the app, no keys and waste. It was a little unfortunate that the check-in was 4pm but you can pay to get earlier check-in or do what we did and get a free luggage locker inside. Never saw any staff while we were there for 2 nights but didn't need anything. They had refillable stations outside your room for coffee, toiletries etc... the room was a little small, but that all we needed and attention to detail was perfect. Overall great place and would certainly stay at others around the world.
When researching for hotels in Seattle, Sonder came up as an affordable option in Capital Hill. The room I had was perfect for 1 adult - clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. You can walk to downtown Seattle in 10 minutes, jump on the light rail for a cheap ride (airport up to Northgate) or an Uber (no issues getting a pick up). The Staff was helpful and the fact you can use a locker to store your suitcase before and after check in was a huge benefit.
The Sonder the Boylston was very clean and modern. The check-in procedure was done via the app which helped you also to connect to the Wifi! Everything that was needed was available and could described as high-quality service (TV, AC, coffee machine, fridge, towels & amenities but no iron). However, no breakfast/dinner or bar options are available at the Sonder itself, which was known in advance. BUT! there were many options in the neighborhood which definitely were more than satisfying. The staff was friendly and helped in case it was needed. Around the Sonder, there many great places to check out and also some grocery stores, pizza, etc. very close. If a gym, reception, bar and other 3++ star hotel features are not needed, this is definitely a stay-in place in Seattle! It was great stay and definitely fit the purpose.…
This was the perfect amount of space for my boyfriend and I. We were in town for a friends wedding, this location was close to all the restaurants and bars. Great location for that, easy to walk around in this area. We loved the Lost Lake Cafe (ate here for brunch and lunch the following day). The corn beef and hash is insane. Getting in and out of the Sonder and our room was easy and felt secure. Our room was pretty quiet we couldnt hear anything from the street or our neighbors. Some flushing sounds here and there but it was faint. The storage was great and we felt that the bed was comfortable! I would definitely recommend Sonder and we look forward to checking out a few other locations!
This is great value for money and the staff are really really nice and helpful and accommodating. The location is great, right in the centre of Capitol Hill. Only downside was they dont have an elevator and we were on the 6th floor.
Outstanding location with restaurants and bars around. Easy access to the link trains. Room was very clean. Had its own air and hear unit so I could set it to my own desire. Everything worked. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I’d stay at a Sonder again.
Facility is modern and clean. It's simply all you need when you're out all day and want to sleep well at night. Nice mattress, linens and fixtures. WiFi is strong. No place to sit, but that did not matter to me as I was up early and home late. I was on the 6th level, so it was relatively quiet. It's a bustling area so I'm not sure if the lower levels are as quiet
This was my first time staying in a Sonder location and I am so happy with my whole experience. The building has minimal furnishings and color schemes, but a very fun mural in the main stairwell full of Seattle highlights. I really loved the contactless entry and that there were essentials just down the hall when I needed it. The TV was essential for winding down after a long day. The bed and sheets, super comfy! Absolutely perfect location, truly in the center of everything. Can't recommend enough! I would have really liked to have a microwave either in the room or in the common area on the main floor. It would have really helped with cutting down a bit on spending money out. It was also tough to come back after a long day and climb 6 flights of stairs to the room. Totally understand that putting an elevator in is not easy, but it is definitely something to consider when booking. All in all, I will be looking at Sonder first for the next city I choose to travel to.…
