Detailed Reviews
My husband and I spent a few days in Seattle before leaving for a cruise to Alaska and spent a night again upon our return. The staff here are very helpful and booked a round trip shuttle to the ship which ended up costing us considerably less than the shuttle Royal Caribbean offered. A very nice breakfast was offered each morning and the hours it was open definitely took into effect that many people staying there had early flights or departures. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport as well. The thing that really made this hotel stand out was the manager, Jeff. The day we returned from the cruise we arrived at the hotel at 10:00a.m. When we went to the desk we were told there was a $45 early check-in fee if we wanted to check in then or we could check in at the regular 3:00pm. We paid the fee and went to our room. We discovered that the tv was not working due to internet service and called the desk. They sent up the maintenance man who changed the box, got the tv working fine and left. The tv stayed on for about 10 minutes and went off again with the same, no internet message. The maintenance worker came back and tried a different box and wires, got it working, turned it off and on again, changed stations, felt confident and left. We left the tv on and went out for awhile only to come back and find it off with the same message. We called down to the desk and I asked for the manager, explained everything and he said he would be right up and would also be removing the early $45 arrival fee for all of the trouble we went through. He came up and replaced the box, got it working, tested it and left and yes, it happened again. He said to call him directly if we had any more problems so my husband called him and told him it was out again. He came up, immediately moved us to a new room getting us the room directly across the hall helping us move our belongings and also giving us a further discount. While talking to him, we found out he was supposed to have left hours earlier but stayed to make sure we were all set. Each time he came up, he never let on that he was there past his time for his shift to end. This is true customer service! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Thank you Jeff.

This Seatac hotel was just what we needed after a delayed flight from Wisconsin. The main desk told us to get our bags, go to the 3rd floor parking area and call for a shuttle. It came in less than 10 minutes which was amazing as they were very busy at the time.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful as we checked in. The rooms were clean and spacious and quiet. The morning breakfast had a large variety of choices.
I was very happy with our experience at Country Inn& Suites Seatac and encourage others to visit as well. We stayed the night before our cruise from Pier 91 and it was an easy transfer to the port downtown without the high costs of the downtown hotels. We used Seattle Express for a shuttle to the port, and it stops at this hotel frequently throughout the morning.
Great experience.

Overall our stay here was exceptional. Breakfast was decent and they’d put out some snacks as the day progressed, along with having some tea and hot chocolate available throughout the day. The beds were comfortable in the room, and there was a decent amount of space for a 2 queen bed room to spread out for 3 people, even with a desk table and chair in the room as well.
One thing that was odd to us was that the microwave buttons were in French. I understand Seattle is not far off from Canada, but it was still quite odd to see. Another odd thing to see was that the shower was only partly covered and did not have a fully enclosed door! This took away from the overall comfort that a hot shower provides and even though the shower head cannot be moved in an effort to reduce water getting everywhere, it still does any way. Along with this, the water pressure was quite poor (low).
The last thing we found confusing was that we needed to get a different key from the front desk in order to access the pool. I suppose that is in an effort to control how many people are in the pool at once, but still odd to see as most hotels will simply allow access by way of hotel key card.
Other than this, the a/c worked well and they had nice shades that kept the room dark and cool. All staff we encountered was very friendly. The stay was overall satisfactory, but with these few creature comforts that we consider important, we would probably stay elsewhere.

Due to the overwhelming outstanding reviews, I think I was expecting more than just an average older hotel. There was really nothing especially exceptional nor especially terrible about the hotel. The lobby and breakfast room were nice. The room was average. I felt that the price point was a bit high for an older average airport hotel without a restaurant though. For whatever reason, the room shook at random times all throughout the night and other than that, I didn't have any other problems with the actual stay. To use the airport shuttle, you MUST let them know upon check-in that you need a ride to the airport, what time and for how many people, and there are signs at the front desk to that effect. No one asks at check-in if you need a shuttle so if you forget, you're out of luck. It is supposed to leave every half hour. Despite this, the shuttle was overbooked and the driver had to make two trips. The following is why I will never stay at this hotel again. The driver was the most annoying shuttle driver I have ever encountered. He went around the van and insisted on knowing where everyone was flying to and would make fun of you if you didn't want to disclose to a van full of strangers where you were going. He then felt that he had to annoyingly comment and ask questions about each destination. The whole 10 minute drive was an awful story he told about a couple who would not disclose where they were going and the tactics he used to try to pry the information out of them before the end of the ride. Then he went on to recite the bad reviews he would get on social media and tell stories of the people who wrote them. He'll probably be talking about this review on his next ride. At 5 am, we all just want a little peace and quiet on our ride to the airport. For just an average hotel and the most annoying shuttle driver, I'll be trying a different hotel the next time I'm in the area.

We stayed here for 2 nights, the airline did not put my luggage on our flight and said they would deliver it to the hotel that night (they took 24 hours instead). Hotel were so helpful by giving us complimentary Toothbrushes and toothpaste and keeping us up to date if the suitcase had arrived. The hotel was quite new and rooms were good, pool was good too. Location was great for the airport and also good to explore Seattle and Tacoma

My overall hotel experience was good but when we arrived the elevator was broken (July 6th-7th 2023) so we had to drag all 5 pieces of luggage pieces up to the 2nd floor for checking in and out. That was an inconvenience, especially for the elderly and customers with ambulatory issues. The rooms need some updating and deep cleaning regarding bathroom tiles. However, we enjoyed the continental breakfast, 24-hour teas, coffee and cookies, and free shuttle service to and from the airport.

We thank you for taking the time to share about your experience at our hotel. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by our elevator not working. Our technicians attempted to repair the elevator but found the motherboard that controls the electronics was damaged and needed to be repaired or replaced. Unfortunately, this type of motherboard is not readily available and must be produced prior to shipping. We are awaiting the parts to complete the repair. We thank you for your patience and understanding regarding this matter.

Here is my humble and truthful review:
1. Check-in
My wife and I arrived around 8 pm. We requested for a room on a higher floor (not the ground floor) to avoid car noises. The staff told us that all rooms on the above-ground floors have been taken up. We then requested for a room with a quieter room. We were then assigned a room on the 3rd floor!! Why were we even lied to in the 1st place?
2. Noise insulation
Planes cease departing / landing at 12 midnight, and the 1st plane takes off at 5 am. If you are not a heavy sleeper, do not book this. You will not get a restful sleep. I have stayed at several airport accommodations (eg. SFO, LIS) and this is the worst. I can even hear people walking outside the corridor, doors shutting, etc.
3. Breakfast
The free breakfast is heavy on carbo - bread and waffles. They have frozen muffins which you have to microwave. You will not have warm cooked items such as hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, hotdogs, etc.
I booked for 3 nights but left after 1 night, largely due to the noise level. Without any proper rest, there was no way I would be able to enjoy what Seattle has to offer.
Please consider carefully if you are thinking of booking this motel.

Response from Jeff Schall, General Manager at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, WA
Responded 13 Jun 2022
We thank you for your detailed review of your stay at our hotel. We apologize for not meeting all of your expectations. We also appreciate the opportunity to educate shopping travelers about our hotel. Regarding noise, please consider with the convenience of being close the airport, airplane noise is inevitable. During our construction we installed noise reducing windows and increased the building's insulation, but guests can expect to still hear some noise. As a busy airport location we have flights arriving and departing at all hours of the day and night. As to your room selection, sometimes the reserved room type does not have availability on an upper level, but we were able to change the room type to fulfill the request. As to breakfast, we are doing our best to balance public safety and guest satisfaction. As an international airport destination, we have a higher risk of exposure to illness. We have consulted with our health officials and our brand in making breakfast program decisions. Unfortunately, prepackaged items have become high demand since the onset of the pandemic and selection has narrowed due to product availability. As long as it can be delivered, we offer hard cooked eggs, yogurt and fresh whole fruits in addition to bread and cereal products. Our breakfast sandwiches also provide a protein option. Many guests concerned about their carbohydrate intake will remove the bread and eat the egg and meat. We again thank you for providing this opportunity to clarify what guests can expect during a stay at our hotel. We thank you for staying with us and sharing your concerns. Your feedback is critical to our success!

We really appreciated staying at this hotel. It is conveniently located close to the airport, providing everything you need for a quick layover. We flew into Seattle from Alaska, stayed overnight in this hotel, toured Seattle for the day, and flew out the following evening. They have a great shuttle service to and from the airport, kindly stored our luggage away for the day while we toured, and offer a nice continental breakfast. The staff is very welcoming and patient, answering all questions. Our room was clean with comfortable bedding. As we arrived a little later in the day, we simply walked to the closest restaurant for a quick bite.

This was an excellent stay. The hotel was clean, check-in/out was quick and the breakfast was plentiful.
We opted to stay here and take light rail into downtown for a concert. We were so glad we chose this option and saved $$ on a lower-priced hotel, free parking, and reasonable public transit prices.

We chose this as our base in Seattle for three days before our trip to Maui , price was very reasonable which included airport shuttle and breakfast . We went to mount Rainier and cascade national park from here and came back in beautiful safe rooms ,all stuffs are very helpful ,they printed our all QR codes ,negative test reports everything needed for our Maui flight .Airport shuttle was on time always ,we could same some money by renting car only for two days and used their shuttle ...every room has mwave and fridge ,also for Covid time self service breakfast was needful!
