I was traveling to Seattle on work and stayed at Residence Inn for 14 nights. Overall the room is good and spacious. Since my office was walkable from this hotel this was an ideal location for me. Also some attractions (Space Needle and some museums)...More
After 3 nights and 4 days, I do not plan on returning. They do not have any shuttle service to anything close by-- stadiums, space needle, pioneer square, my doctor's appointment at Swedish, etc. We spent a small fortune on Ubers. The pool and hot...More

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay at the hotel. I am disappointed to hear about the cleanliness issue you described. This is certainly not the level of cleanliness that you should expect from Marriott, and I can assure you this is...More
Utilitarian best way to describe . Breakfast was decent effort, some interesting choices, like curry. Rooms and hotel itself dated and somewhat worn. Elevator smelled like wet dog and I saw some big dogs staying there. Carpets although dark did not appear clean.

We have a few rooms with direct views of the Space Needle and a few more with partial views. These rooms have been reserved at this point for next week's celebration. Many of our guests simply walk outside during the New Years Eve fireworks and watch from across the street, where the Needle view is unobstructed. Thanks for your question!

Thanks for contacting us on Tripadvisor. There are a few options for transportation from the King Street train station. For a 10pm arrival I would recommend a taxi cab or Uber to the hotel. Taxis will be the most affordable option and should be available just outside the train station, like they would be at the airport. A taxi from the train station to Residence Inn Lake Union should be no more than $20. Make sure you specify Residence Inn on Lake Union to the driver as there are a few other Residence Inn hotels, and many Marriott hotels in Seattle. Let me know if you have any more questions or if I can help with anything prior to your stay. See you in a few weeks!
