Hotel's Favourite
1-night stay
Upside:
(1) Efficient air-conditioning - came in useful on one of the hottest days so far this summer.
(2) Comfortable beds.
(3) Very clean room & bathroom for an older, budget hotel.
(4) Reasonably priced parking - ordinarily costs roughly half that of downtown hotels. Since Lake Union is adjacent to downtown, this hotel's a good alternative to downtown hotels with more expensive parking if you intend to drive within the metro area. As it turned out, we were given complimentary parking.
Downside:
(1) Very slow elevators. Luckily, hotel only has 6 floors.

We had a comfortable stay, despite the wet weather, which was not the hotels fault. The location is great and public transport very good. As seniors we only paid $1 for all transport even the light rail from the Airport.
The rooms were clean. We had a King suite which had ample room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small but not an issue.
The bed linen and towels were of good quality and fluffy. Good Dove products for the bath were appreciated.it was good to have a fridge, microwave and coffee machine although they only left one teabag and two coffee pods. Staff were happy to give you more.
It was nice to have coffee and chilled water in the lobby.
Staff were mostly helpful as there was an issue about the booking with booking.com for our friend. We did not need this wait as we were tired and very jet lagged.
The restaurant Toast toToast served good food but we found Seattle very expensive,
Overall a good stay.

Another ok IHG hotel. Nothing really special but no complaints. We stayed on 5th floor, which was quiet and clean. The room had all the basics and even a small kitchen.
We had a breakfast included but the hotel does not really serve a breakfast. However, they gave us vouchers to the cafeteria next door. There you can order a breakfast from a menu that had about 5 different options. Take away is also OK but coffee is not included. If I will stay here again, I will not have the “hotel” breakfast.
Strange thing about this hotel was that in the same time it felt like a bit remote location and in the middle of attractions. Especially Space needle and MoPOP.
Definitely a plus was that the air-conditioning was quiet.

We went to Oregon & Washington a week before our Alaskan cruise so we need a hotel that closes enough to downtown Seattle and has an onsite laundry facilities. This hotel fits the bill perfectly. The laundry is in each floor so it is so convenient. We came in early with the intention to drop off our suitcases. The rep was able to check us in early( a little after 11 am) so it was great. I would stay here again if we visited Seattle again.

Don't believe the IHG Clean Room promise. At this hotel, rooms are only cleaned upon request. No advance notification of this and they do not have any signs in the lobby or rooms saying they only clean upon request. Very frustrating if you come back in the evening, tired, to find no clean towels or soap and untidy beds and a not so empty trash can.
Poor customer service. Front Desk agents are rude to hotel guests and yell at their customers. They refrain from wearing name badges so you cannot identify them if you want to file a complaint.
No breakfast at this hotel. They will send you to a neighboring hotel.
No swimming pool at this location.
Hotel is in a good location near the Space Needle, but a good 20 minute walk from Pikes Market and a 30 minute walk from Pioneer Park.

This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price - housekeeping was excellent the front staff very courteous and helpful and the breakfast included in my room price was very good. The location in downtown Seattle is very close to the Space Needle and walkable to Pike Market. We has a great time here in Seattle and highly recommend this hotel.

We were in town for a three-night vacation. This hotel was a great value for the area. The staff was exceptionally great. Every single staff member we encountered gave superb and friendly service. Our room was as described, spacious, clean, and quite comfortable. Every site you could want to visit in Seattle was easily accessible by a walk (it is steep in some parts) or a quick cab ride. Yes, there are sketchy areas and people in Seattle. You are going to find that in every part of this city. Yes, the hotel could probably use a little updating. I stand by my opinion that this is one of the best value stays in the area. We did not patronize the attached restaurant at all, but there are many restaurants within walking distance. There is a guest laundry room on the 4th floor where we stayed. I am not sure if there is one on each floor. The front desk has laundry supplies and the machines take credit cards. We would definitely stay again.

Staycation Hidden Secret. Great Hotel. Customer service was PRICELESS!!! High quality hotel for the money we spent. Rooms were large and clean. It was furnished nicely. The Restaurant was good. Location is the best. It sits in a perfect location right outside of downtown proper. 15 minute walk to all the touristy spots we wanted to hit. Parking is available on-site for only $21.00 per night. That's cheep for a downtown/city hotel. Amazing customer service!!! That was the HIGHLIGHT of this place. Mike, overnight Front Desk agent, was GREAT. Super friendly, enthusiastic and extremely informative about the hotel amenities. He seemed to always be working. He was there for our check in, check out and late-night food delivery inquires. He stuck us as a true professional. Not what we expect for a Holiday Inn. The service Mike provided seemed like Ritz Carleton caliber. This thought because he used are name whenever he saw us. That was memorable. He ended up being our "self-made" concierge. Extremely knowledgable of the area with lots of recommendations for the sites, bars and restaurants. He booked us last minute tickets for the Kraken Game. That was a big plus for us because we didn't know where to get the best priced last minute deals on tickets. The hotel is lucky to have him. We will be back.

We stayed here before our Alaska Cruise and had a very good experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Rooms include a mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, iron, and safe. Dove bath products are provided. Hair dryer is attached to the bathroom wall. The front desk staff were so polite and professional at every interaction. We did pay for the package that included breakfast at Toast and Toast restaurant next door to the hotel. Food was good and generous portions. Coffee is not included so take a little cash with you. Short walk to the Space Needle. Upon check in, we signed up for the shuttle to the cruise port for $10 a person plus tip. Driver was on time, very friendly. Although we did see a few homeless people, we never felt unsafe.

The location is great, walking distance to the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, and more. Service left a lot to be desired. I was there for 6 nights and my room was not cleaned even once. No toilet tissue or new towels without having to go to the front desk. It was not brought up to the room. I ended up leaving the trash can outside the room each day in the hopes that it would be emptied.
