La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seattle Downtown garners appreciation for its satisfactory array of amenities and a location that puts guests within walking distance of key attractions. While the atmosphere offers modern comforts, some suggest it could benefit from a refresh. The service receives mixed reviews, with commendations for friendliness alongside notes of occasional unresponsiveness. Guests debate the hotel's value, weighing its affordability against signs of wear, though cleanliness is consistently praised. Room experiences vary, with clean, comfortable spaces weighed against noise concerns and pet policy dissatisfaction.

The room was spacious and in a convenient location, so I think it was worth the price.
As for the free breakfast, the waffles you make yourself were good, but the only egg dishes were frozen foods you had to heat up in the microwave, which was a bit disappointing. It felt a bit seedy.
There was a coin laundry, which was convenient. They also sell detergent.
You can exchange a lot of 25-cent coins at the front desk for the coin laundry.
After checking out, I asked the front desk to call a taxi for me, and they had someone who seemed like a part-time Uber driver at the hotel, which was more convenient and reassuring than calling a regular Uber.

Great location, walkable to both Seattle Center and Pike Place. Area around seemed quite safe for walking. Lots of restaurants nearby. Hotel had spacious rooms (older style) with very comfortable newer beds. Internet wifi at the hotel was not very fast but I used my esim cellular instead. Staff were friendly and accomodating, and the complimentary breakfast had lots of variety and options (all premade except for the waffle machine, heat up individual portions in the microwaves provided), fresh fruit and yogurt, cereal, milk, hard boiled eggs, croissants, breakfast bowl with beef, egg, potato and cheese, a variety of juices, bagels and toast, coffee, etc, all you can eat. The hotel has a small exercise room with free weights. No pool at the hotel. Overall a great stay! Parking was affordable, around $20 per night, underground locked parkade with gate, with in-and-out privileges, and the parking is good to 4pm on the day you check out, even after you check out (check out is at 11am). Would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Dave was great !!!!. Gave us the low down on sites of the city very informative. He answered all the things I needed answered. We spoke a few times before my arrival. Hotel was ok a little out dated. Clean over all. Bed was comfortable. King size bed stuck in a room with approximately 2 feet on both sides. Kinda tight so had to exit at end of bed instead of side. Breakfast was all prepacked except waffles those were freshly made. I was in a suite that faced the Space Needle . Little upset dog friendly I am highly allergic and no one in formed me of the possibility that dogs could have stayed in the room. Did not have any allery meds with me. But overall a good 3 day stay.

my partner, and I drove 12 hours to Seattle for a concert which we paid a decent amount of money for said concert tickets. I’ve always stayed with La Quinta, and never had an issue with my pets. The specific La Quinta states that they will charge you a pet deposit and then, for as long as your pet is in that hotel room you were not allowed to leave. They should just say they don’t allow pets and save everyone the hassle, because I was unable to attend my concert because I wasn’t allowed to leave the room. Not to mention the gentleman at the front desk was very dismissive, and seemed as if he couldn’t be bothered and had a bit of a princess attitude.

We stayed here for 2 nights mid-week and we were a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel had mixed reviews but for a family of 4, it was a good value with breakfast included. I was primarily worried about the mention of pet smell and hair in some of the rooms. My husband is allergic to pets. I called the hotel and talked to Carrie. She was very nice and made a note of my concern. We checked in early and Carrie was at the front desk. The room that she gave us was fine and we were able to checkin & go to eat lunch as well as start our touring of Seattle. Our room was clean and we like that the sink is separate from the bathroom with tub/shower and toilet. It’s great layout when there are more than 2 people in the room. There is a mini-fridge and microwave. The kids loved their freshly popped popcorn from the microwave as a night snack. The parking at the hotel is $19/day and on our last day, we were able to leave our car until 4 pm. This is great because parking is so expensive in Seattle. The hotel is a little outdated especially noticeable since it is surrounded by new high rise buildings. However, it is centrally located in many attractions and we walked all over Seattle (Space Needle, Pike’s Market, Pioneer Square, Seattle Aquarium, etc). We also felt safe walking from and to our hotel even at night.

Pros: on site parking $19; could leave car until 4 pm; pike market and space needle walkable; breakfast included frozen egg sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and jimmy dean sausage and egg breakfast bowls that you microwave yourself - different delivery but similar to a buffet with eggs and sausage. Well stocked with a variety of granola bars, a couple dry sugary cereals, oatmeal packets, fruit, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. Lobby area modern and well kept. Rooms clean and comfortable.
Cons- linens scratchy; rooms were worn; pricey for a La Quinta

Let me start by saying it is always expensive to stay in downtown Seattle, so this is an expensive room. Nice suite, lots of room, plenty of seating and a bedroom door you can close. Comfortable bed, nice features, and being within walking distance of the show we came to see was perfect. There's some "downtown noise" (emergency vehicles), to be expected, and we were able to sleep. Front desk very helpful. Access on the street is a little confusing, and I am very grateful we didn't need to park a car. The breakfast left us pretty disappointed. Fortunately, we're not vegans, they would not have many choices here. We don't eat meat, so many of the "nicer" options (microwave breakfast sandwiches) weren't appropriate for us (all had meat except bean and cheese burritos, not my idea of breakfast). Yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and fruit for us - then we went out to a restaurant for a 'real' breakfast. All in all a nice place. Just don't necessarily rely on the breakfast to really start the day right...

Stayed here for a wedding that I was attending. It was great location and the staff was great as well. The room was spacious and clean. The shower had great water pressure which is hard to find in hotels. The only downfall is that there was no pool or hot tub/spa and the parking is scarce and not free. other than that had a great stay. Breakfast was not bad for FREE, I loved the turkey breakfast sandwiches.

Comfortable beds. When shower room light bulb went out, the front desk promptly took care of getting it replaced. Breakfast room was not stocked with plates and food on the first morning, but was well stocked the second. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again.

• I don't like the parking structure because it
was too small of space to park. I wish that the staff would be polite and helpful. They don't even say hi to the customers. The refrigerator was
small, that I can't even fit my gallon of milk. The sink water was so run so light not even a lots to clean my kids bottle, I have to clean my kids bottle at the bath tub. The ceiling paint has bubble that it start to pale off. Please be aware that I didn't pay cheap for three days, I pay almost $600 for that king room. The sofa bed has a pee smell. Please have some respectful. The kitchen for breakfast was disgusting messy, can't keep up cleaning, restock the foods, slamming the door when asking for napkin and refill milk. 1 totally that sometimes people can be frustrate but without us, you
wouldn't have a job. I was frustrate when I came to get breakfast can even sit to enjoy my breakfast because the place and table was filthy disgusting.
