Front Desk Hyejin was very polite and helpful at checkout. Rooms were spacious and in great condition. Loved the view in the restaurant too. Highly recommended for pleasure or business. The grand ballroom is fantastic.

Hotel's Favourite
I almost hesitate to write the glowing review I am about to, for fear that what’s feels like my great discovery’s secret will get out and threaten my chances of ever getting a reservation again. Top to bottom and side to side this luxury hotel checks all my boxes. Charm, Culture, & Calm. I want to go back at a time when Charlotte is open, but my room service breakfast was very very good. The staff was friendly, professional and approachable with an air of world class hospitality. My suite was stylish, comfortable, and quiet. I appreciate this concept and hope to come back for a visit very very soon. Thank You Hotel Lotte Staff and Management!

We had another successful meeting at Lotte Seattle for 125 people! This is our 2nd time hosting our team here and the level of service is exceptional. The personal service made us feel very special. We could not have done it without this extraordinary team. Lezlie was the most amazing planning partner. She helped from every aspect from beginning to end, even went beyond with some extra surprises. Kara and Bernardo ensured our guests were taken care of when checking in along with the front desk staff, Arlene, Jasmine, and David. There were a lot of us and it all went very smoothly. Jesse the chef, made our meals to our specifications without any hesitation, and the food was incredible. The pastry chefs Artis and Merlyn went above and beyond to help us with a celebration. JV made sure all of the meeting rooms were set, exactly to how we wanted them. Firas and the banquet servers made sure the food was on time. The servers were diligent and extremely quiet setting up while our meetings were going on so that meals were right on time and ready to eat. So many folks contribute to the success of these meetings. THANK YOU for everything and we can't wait to have another meeting at Lotte!

We hosted a large business event in September at the Lotte. Lezlie and the entire team made it a seamless experience all the way from the booking of the space to the communication up until the event and event itself. We were extremely pleased and would highly recommend.

As a platinum bonvoy member, it’s rare for me to select a non-Marriott hotel in Seattle or elsewhere. But, I’m so glad that I gave Lotte Hotel a try! From seamless check-in with Hyejin on the 16th flr lobby, unexpected but welcome upgrade to a lovely, modern suite with a view, to enjoying HH bites & drinks at Charlotte’s, this has been a memorable hotel experience! Off to Lotte NY next…

Sun at the front desk ensured our stay was wonderful and took very good care of us. Our room was spacious, relaxing and had great views of the city, stadiums and Elliot bay. Will stay again.

We showed up about 3 hours prior to check in time because of our spa appointment and we had our kids with us. I assumed that they'd have to sit around and hang out in the lounge area but Sun at front desk was very accommodating and checked us in early so the kids can relax in the room. The restaurant was OK to say the least but Devin's service made dining experience fun!

Not what we were expecting. Firstly too many of the staff were clueless. Polite but really not very together. The Lotte is actually a strange hotel what with the garishly decorated and carpeted orange corridors and showers that only have overhead shower heads, albeit two of them per shower. Far more useful would be just one of the two high, overhead shower-heads and instead of a 2nd overhead shower-head...a handheld shower. Why two overheads? I am re-writing this review in the hope that the general manager in his reply might explain this...it is one of the reasons why we find this hotel a little strange. I've never seen such an odd shower head arrangement anywhere else. There are also positives, an excellent room safe and plenty of charging points as you would expect in a new hotel these days. On arrival we found only one very small soap to share and only worn poor quality, smaller than usual towel each for showering and a very small hand towel each. If showering and washing hair, the towel supplied was inadequate due to being unusually thin and smaller than usual bath towels. The following day they did provide extra towels on request without any problem, but all the same, not very impressive. You have to ask, although they do answer the telephone very quickly. On arriving via limo from the airport with four large suitcases there were no doormen outside or bell staff. I had to go inside to ask someone to come out to take our luggage. The guy I spoke to seemed a little surprised to be asked to come and get the luggage. Exactly the same situation in reverse when we departed three days later. We then took the lift to Reception, which is on the 16th floor. Given we arrived at 1 pm, our accommodation was ready for occupancy which was much appreciated. We then asked lady who checked us in for directions to the Capitol Grill (which was apparently a walk away) where we had a reservation for later that evening. Reception doubles as a concierge according to the hotel, however no information whatsoever that was provided by 'the Concierge' during our stay, was accurate. One of them didn’t know what he didn’t know, because he was new but at least he volunteered to not knowing instead of providing incorrect guidance. The lady who had checked us in produced a map written in Korean because they had run out of the English version. On this map, she drew a line on the street map for us to follow to the Capital Grille. We did just that later that evening and she had directed us to the wrong street. The correct street was in fact the next block. Prior to that she had directed us to the wrong restaurant altogether, we told her Capital Grill and she wasn’t listening properly and give us directions to Metropolitan Grill. We were staying on the ninth floor. The lift doors opened on the ninth floor and it was like stepping into a Stanley Kubrick movie… Clockwork Orange… I have never seen a corridor quite like this one…it was quite overwhelming. See photo. and orange is usually my favourite colour! Our bedroom had no opening windows. The shower only provided overhead shower heads, there was no handheld shower at all. That is a very bad design irrespective of Phillip Starke designs but perhaps that is how they do it in South Korea where we have never visited. Overall, staying here, reminded me of strange 1960s TV series, like the prisoner and The Avengers or the persuaders. It is just a little strange. We often stay at terrific, very together American hotels, but this one did not feel at all American. We also asked the receptionist/Concierge when we were checking in to arrange a transfer to the port for us on our departure. We would need a large vehicle as we had four full size suitcases. The lady 'concierge' told us that we simply ask the Dorman to get us a van a few minutes before we leave and they would do that straight away. The next day I double checked with the door staff and they said they don’t have any contacts for vans and that what I had been told was incorrect. I telephoned the Reception/Concierge, who asked us if our four suitcases would fit in a sedan! I had already explained we had four large suitcases. Of course, we have no chance of fitting into a sedan. I lost confidence and so I escalated this to the reception manager who called me and arranged the transfer for us and she said this was going to be complimentary. I had not asked for anything complimentary. I told her that we were more than willing to pay, but that I just wanted it organising correctly as we wanted to get to a ship at a fixed time. She insisted on providing a complimentary transfer. This was an excellent service recovery. On our departure day, a Lincoln SUV turned up and proceeded to drive us towards totally the wrong pier. I had explained exactly which pier we needed to get to. I have not studied the confirmation email because I just presumed they would have confirmed the pier that I had requested. As for Seattle itself, this was our first ever visit and the city was very disappointing asso many people including the hotel staff told us not to walk around anywhere at night after 7 pm …and we could see why. Unfortunately Seattle seems to have a similar problem to San Francisco and some of the sights and actions we witnessed on the streets I would not like to attempt to describe on TripAdvisor. We heard of tourists suddenly being attacked in broad daylight. Uber drivers told us that drug addicts are so well looked after by being supplied with what they need by authorities that Seattle is known as …Freeattle and that those running the city have their priorities, totally wrong. No wonder a lot of the streets in Seattle especially downtown are close to empty much of the time including throughout the daylight hours. Seattle has all these skyscrapers but unlike in New York City, where the streets outside of skyscrapers are bustling, you rarely see anybody going in or out of those in Seattle. Perhaps everybody is working from home in order to avoid the downtown area? It reminded me of a ghost town. We also saw some very menacing looking people in other areas including a very upmarket residential area, it seems to be fairly widespread. At least in the Pike market area those streets were busy but much of the rest of it feels like post apocalypse. Lots of security outside Pike Market but probably needed as it is close to 2nd and 3rd which is very dodgy! We had planned to return for a stopover to Seattle next March en route to Papeete however, we are going to give it a miss and instead get to the South Pacific via Los Angeles where there are numerous great hotels. This hotel is supposedly one of the best in Seattle. When we were leaving, I had to ask the doorman to bring our cases out to our Limo. It is not a terrible hotel, I still give it four stars out of five and by Seattle standards. It could well be one of the best as this is a city that has seen better days. Just as I will never go back to San Francisco I would not want to return to Seattle.
