This property is like no other I have stayed at! Such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay! There is a main building and some cottage like rooms and they are both great. I stayed in the cottage and the room was perfect for me!

Location is within walking distance of Husky stadium. That was the only good thing about our stay. Tub didn't drain and when we were told it was fixed it wasn't. Needless to say we were standing in a 1/2 tub of water by the end of the second shower. Very gross.

There was an unacceptably loud banging noise that sounded like pipes banging in the wall went on every night. Notified the front desk and never got fix. The sink in the bathroom was miss the drain plug. The shower did not drain until I wedged some thing under the drain. I would not return to location

Price was great. Located only blocks away from University Village, University of Washington, Seattle Children's Hospital. The major sites of Seattle are easily accessible. The property was beautiful. We not not feel like we were staying in a hotel. We will be staying here again!

Our location is unique, as you saw, in that it is tucked away on 18 acres of serene landscape, right off a main thoroughfare. If you want a good deal, good quality, but don't necessarily need to be downtown, this is a good option here. We paid 200 a night, whereas most places downtown charged 300+. The room was large and clean, a bit dated perhaps. The location is very quiet. had a great night sleep. Breakfast is included and has a good selection,...

Pleasant area, isolated from city noise. Walking paths and grounds. The queen bead room was small and you were aware of other guests activity in adjoining rooms. Amenities were typical, internet, small frig, TV.

We booked our stay at Talaris through Chase Ultimate Rewards and were really pleased with our stay. The grounds are lovely and it felt like we were on retreat in the middle of the city. The included breakfast offered lots of variety—definitely better than what you get at many other hotels. Our room (Cascades B-1) was small but worked fine...

We stayed here because it is an easy walk to Seattle Childrens Hospital. Loved staying there but the rooms, beds, baths are a step above camping out. Comfortable but no frills. The breakfast is to die for delicious. The staff were very helpful during our 10 day stay. Nice setting - 18 acres of trees in the middle of urbania....

I booked the Talaris Conference Centre for a night stay, having discovered it for the first time on a travel webpage (despite the fact that I lived in North Seattle for many years!). A Japanese-inspired modernist complex on expansive grounds, the Centre is clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the grounds are gorgeous (nesting eagles, ponds, paths). Who knew...

You were very thoughtful to leave a review of your experience at Talaris, and your comments were so well stated! We discovered Talaris on the Internet and stayed at Talaris for the first time in April 2011 when one of our sons wanted to tour UW.
