Dirty disgusting hotel, stains on carpets in lobby, halls, rooms. Lighting too dim in bathroom. Old chipped furniture. Needs complete renovation. Room not ready and given the worst room with construction from 8p-5am when asked for QUIET room. We got no sleep for our one night stay. Unfriendly, unavailable, incompetent staff who act like they hate their job. Used points and would be even more upset if I paid $400 for a terrible experience. Would not stay here for free! You’ve been warned…
I was disappointed in the Hyatt. I thought it was a quality hotel chain. The bedding provided for the pull out couch was inadequate. I requested three times a blanket or quilt. It was never provided. Our stay was very uncomfortable
Great front desk staff. Helpful and friendly. No issues during our stay. Underground parking was great with daily fee but is as expected compared to market. Small complaint about the breakfast, it was as expected with food just lack of staff support out in front of dinning area for direction and service, otherwise it would be perfect. Overall wonderful stay and will return again.
Very close to the space needle, and pier was within walking distance. Offered transportation to the cruise terminal for $10 per person. Advertises laundry facilities but it is only 1 washer and 1 dryer! This was a mess the night before cruising bc so many peel wanted to get laundry completed before getting on the ship.
I think this property has all the basic items to have a great stay. The rooms are clean and overall fair price for the area. I did miss not having USB charging ports in our room. This is much needed in 2022 and shows the property is a bit outdated. The customer service experience is what needs polishing. We had one issue with a staff member but overall, the entire team is just there giving bare minimum customer service. I think the team is either overworked and short staffed or need a morale booster from corporate. The breakfast protein was same over and over. Self Parking garage on site, but will cost you $30 a night. I feel this is reasonable compared to other downtown properties who make you use a more expensive valet.
The fact that this was the only hotel out of 4 on our trip that didn’t send a request for feedback or review after our stay is telling. We have always had fantastic experiences at Hyatt, but this location was an exception. Overpriced for the lack of some basic amenities. One microwave in the lobby for the use of every guest in the hotel was a huge inconvenience. If they aren’t going to put one in each room, at least have one in the vending areas on each floor. Furnishings in the room were dinged/scuffed and definitely ready for an update. The carpets were stained throughout the halls and in our room. Location is good if you want to do space needle stuff. Beds were very comfortable and appreciated that the check-in staff anticipated our need for extra towels and bedding and had them sent up without even having to request them when we arrived. HOWEVER… Requested a full room refresh the second day of our stay and 12 hours later - and after a follow up call to check on the request - they still hadn’t come to take out the trash, straighten up the room, or bring extra towels… That request was never fulfilled before we checked out, in fact. Very disappointed that we had to spend over $600 on this two-night stay. The hotel did not live up to the typical Hyatt excellent experience.…
Location was nice and walkable to anything you need-all types of food and the space-needle is just a couple blocks away. Walgreens is directly across the street. Staff was very friendly. Hotel boasts a restaurant - like menu/bar that we never saw stocked with anything and it was literally just the other side of the check-in counter.
The hotel is aged, but the rooms are decent and well maintained. The staff - from front desk to service staff all are unprofessional and rude. Breakfast is a joke, most often everything would be empty- that at 7:30 in the morning.
I will not recommend this hotel. The staff in the check in counter is not friendly. The elevator is not working with the key card they gave. The bathroom and aircon is old/outdated. Housekeeping is only available by request.
Trying to do too much with way too little. Avoid this property and stay at the sister Hyatt House. Heavy waits on the 2 elevators, lobby way too small for the guest, check-in/out long waits as only 1 person working. Staff are nice, friendly and knowledgable.
