We had a spectacular time at the Maxwell this weekend!

The experience was amazing from the moment we walked in to the lobby. The staff checking us in was so friendly and the process was so smooth, we got parking passes lickety-split, and were up to our room within 5 minutes of arriving.

We were traveling with 2 dogs, and the hotel and surrounding businesses are more than dog friendly! We opted for the winter puppy package, so the dogs were greeted at the front desk with a biscuit and their name on the doggy chalkboard. In our room were two adorable (and based on dog behavior, very comfortable) dog beds, two tins of treats, doggy poo bags, and pineapple hospitality dog bowls! Every time we walked through the hotel, staff and guests were thrilled to see the dogs, and the neighborhood is great for walks and potty breaks. (Walks through Seattle Center are great with pups!)

The room was spacious and well stocked, and when we needed more mugs, coffee, and a corkscrew, staff got them to us right away! The beds were so comfy and I love the double comforter set up they have.

The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to South Lake Union and Lower Queen Anne, and we had so much amazing food in the neighborhood (many places were dog friendly!) and great entertainment all within a few blocks. We took an evening stroll to the Space Needle, and could head back to the room any time without having to call a ride.

The bistro/coffee stand was perfect first thing in the morning when we got up, with delicious coffee and pastries, and again, every single staff member we interacted with was so friendly and helpful.

We will be back soon to explore more that the hotel and area have to offer!!

I live in Seattle and we were having some work done on our home, so we escaped for the weekend to The Maxwell and we were not disappointed. They were following all the Covid-19 guidelines and even had a sticker on the door of the room to confirm it was cleaned properly. The rooms have super comfortable bedding, a desk to work on, water and coffee. We had our dog and it was so nice they had a dog bed, bowls and treats for him, great touch. The staff here is doing a great job under current conditions, our room had a problem with the lock and they quickly moved us to a new working room. The front desk team was fantastic, thanks to Sierra who was most helpful! I can say the location is great, you have the quiet neighborhood of Queen Anne, easy to walk to places to eat, the Seattle Center or right down to the waterfront. Would definitely recommend to those visiting Seattle or even those looking for a staycation.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Nice location. Bedding is beautiful, but you have to love sleeping with down bedding/pillows. It has a European flare with the bedding and shower. Shower is large and luxurious with a no shower door concept.
My only negative review is the $29 daily resort fee. With the pandemic, the hotel is giving a $10 per day allowance on snacks and drinks available at the front desk. I did not feel the resort fee was warranted under the circumstances at the present time. Maid service was upon the customer's request, which I did prefer. On the website, it states that fresh towels are brought if requested wrapped in plastic. Mine were not. It also states that antibacterial wipes are in all rooms. I did not have any. The luxurious bathrobes mentioned on the website, I did not have in my room. The room was very clean upon arrival and did have the sanitation seal on the door.
Overall a very nice spot! The pandemic is challenging for all businesses, especially in the hospitality industry. With the few negative items mentioned, I would return to this hotel when visiting in Seattle.

My husband and I checked into The Maxwell to escape the Seattle heatwave. We have loved staying at other Pineapple properties, and The Maxwell did not disappoint.

The hotel is beautifully appointed with whimsical art, sparkle and color throughout. There were COVID protocols in place and it was apparent that cleanliness and safety is top priority here.

Check-in was a breeze. Our room was sealed at the door to let us know it has been sanitized, and we were pleasantly surprised with treats, bowls and a bed for our two dogs in the room. The view of the Space Needle was beautiful. We were thrilled to find that like the other Pineapple locations we’ve stayed at the bed was SO comfortable. The room stayed cool as a cucumber.

Rye, the gentleman at the front desk was really helpful and charming. We also chatted with Lacy, the hotel GM, who was super cheerful and engaging. Everyone who works here is so nice!

Thanks to all for making our stay so cool and comfy. We’ll be back for sure!

We were looking for a one night get away in the city. We looked at very plush, luxurious hotels but the price was very steep. We found the Maxwell and instantly loved how unique it was. The price for the night was perfect so we booked a king room. Walking in, the door was sealed with a sticker showing that the room had been cleaned and no one had entered since it had been cleaned. We appreciated the hotel taking every precaution to keep us safe and healthy. The room was so fun! The art was funky, the wall paper gives it a cozy feel. We loved the complimentary coffee, tea, and water. The duvets were our favorite part! We loved having two so we could sleep in a very comfortable to our preference. The bathroom had great shampoo and conditioner. The bed was amazing. We had an amazing nights sleep. We can't wait to stay here again.

One thing I love to do when I travel is find great places to stay that are not a huge chain/brand. Of course I read the rating and we booked 3 rooms here before our cruise earlier this month and we were very glad we did.
Lobby is very stylish and fun! Love the decor and vibe it gives off.
Check-in was very easy and we were able to do so before check-in time. We weren't sure if it was possible after a long 5+hr flight and glad it worked for us.
Each room received a $10 food credit to use at their little snack bar near the front desk and was very helpful not having to worry about going out to a local store in an area were at not familiar with.
The elevators only work with your room key, an added security bonus.
Rooms were VERY clean and spacious with large TVs, desk area, small spot to hang clothing with a larger than normal bathroom (also very clean) with a shower only - no tub. The shower was the type without a door or curtain. For me, it was a plus not to see some nasty shower curtain. The view from the room could have been better however we were just there for 1 night and wasn't our main purpose of the stay.
Added bonus was large TVs and extra bedding. Only negative was access to ice machines and cost of parking. Only a few floors have ice machines. Your room key will not let you do to other floors so you cannot access the floors for them however the staff downstairs assisted in getting me ice. My biggest pet peeve anywhere I travel is the cost of parking. The package we booked said parking was included however we were still charged.
Overall if I had to return to Seattle, I would stay here again and check out other hotels under this bouquet style group.

Maxwell Hotel was perfect for our single night in Seattle. The special pineapple touches were really appreciated in our room: bathrobes, unlimited coffee and waters. We also loved the bedding (so comfy!). The walkability of the location was ideal to be able to park our car and leave it.

Our shower was not cleaned, hair was in shower. Also the pull out bed had a scab and hairs on the sheet. When requesting towels it took multiple tries to get the towels or sheets we wanted. They tax the 10$ food credit purchases which was a surprise. Tax and parking fee makes parking $45 a night not the advertised $37. So for a $237 a night for 4 night =948. My total with all the taxes amenities fee (and taxes) and parking and taxes was $1, 406. That was a lot of extra fees. Which would not have been bad if we felt like it was worth it. Dogs were barking in the rooms that you could hear down the hall. But we never felt like a clean environment. Also the guy at the front desk should not work in hospitality not at all friendly and made no apology when our room was dirty, just responded “oh”. I will not be returning to this Seattle location on Ray Street.

The first time I stayed at the Maxwell there were no extra charges. This time parking and an amenities charge put my reasonably priced room into not so reasonable range. The beds were comfortable with the thick mattress covers and big fluffy duvets but we suffered from to much of a good thing. You were either roasting or chilled. I did have to wear earplugs to block out doors slamming and loud guests. I also notice that each time I logged in and looked at the prices they went up.

This hotel is very nice. However it was odd that we were given an ADA room when we did not need it. The low countertop heights, miniature closet, and shower were strange and just made the room feel awkward for our “romantic night away from our kids”. We also found it a bit crazy to have to pay an extra $40 per night to park at the hotel, when you’re already paying roughly $200 a night for the room.
