The State Hotel is an amazing place to stay! When we arrived Raul at the front desk gave us a very warm welcome. When he found out it was our honeymoon, he upgraded us to a premium suite with its own roof terrace overlooking the Seattle skyline. As if that wasn't enough, he delivered a bottle of champagne, macarons and cake to our room. Raul is the best! The hotel itself is gorgeous with amazing wallpapers and art. It is ideally situated next to Pike Place market and it has an amazing roof terrace where you can enjoy a drink looking out on the city. The staff are very friendly. There are complimentary snacks, sparkling water etc at the front desk and the breakfast served daily is delicious (pastries, granola, coffee, yoghurt etc). The restaurant Ben Paris on the ground floor is also fantastic and you can order from the menu to your room. If you're in Seattle, make sure you stay here! …
Great staff. Upgraded our room to bay view and let us check in early. It was a great perk. Clean, stylish and spacious room. Also great location to the water and steps away from the market. Look forward to staying again in a future stay to Seattle.
The hotel is right off Pike Street and the Market. It's fairly new, opened in 2019, and is very clean, safe, and comfortable. Good and satisying continental breakfast in the morning. Beds are comfortable and bathroom spacious with a nice rain shower. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is two blocks from the light rail, has bus stop on the corner and the monorail to the needle is 4 blocks away. Also there's a nice patio on the top floor-great to have your morning coffee or evening cocktail enjoying the views
I am typically a Marriott loyalist, however when I stay in Seattle I will always come to The State Hotel. The staff is incredible every time I come here and the food at Ben Paris is always amazing. I can’t stay here without trying SOMETHING from the restaurant and the atmosphere usually drives me to order a cocktail and relax a bit. The hotel itself is a beautiful building with touches of local art and playful design. I love toasting a night-cap on the rooftop deck to watch the ferry sail over the neon lights on the street below. Of the 3 rooms I’ve stayed in, they’ve all had great views of Pikes Place and the waterfront which is an effortless walk from the hotel. If you’re visiting from out of town, The State Hotel is exactly where you want to be. Walk to the light rail & monorail, close to the nightlife in Bell Town, and I can smell the food at Pikes Place Market from my room. I will absolutely stay here again.…
I showed up bedraggled at the front desk of this hotel after the arrangements I made for my lodging fell through and I suddenly had nowhere to stay in a strange city. They were very kind and helpful and I was so grateful! I got a great price and a lovely room and ended up staying two nights.
I stayed at the State Hotel twice for my business trip and had an amazing experience. Raul, the front desk manager, was very friendly and accommodating to make sure i have a great experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean, quiet and had everything I needed. I will definitely keep coming back every time i visit Seattle.
We walked everywhere - if we couldn't walk, we took the Link or Monorail. Staff was friendly and lady at the front desk gave excellent advice for places to eat. Room was nice and bed was very comfortable. Would stay here again!!
We stayed at the State Hotel the day before cruising out to Alaska. It's a beautiful place! The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing! We enjoyed a nice continental breakfast and complimentary snacks as well. It's very close to Pike Place Market. We took an Uber to the Pier, which was only 10 minutes away. Highly recommend the State Hotel!
Great hotel right across Pike Place Market and near the harbor. We decided to stay here for 1 night prior to our NCL cruise. Location is excellent literally one street over from pike place and near lots of shops. Atmosphere of the hotel is classic elegant and the rooms are beautiful simple designs, clean, and bright. Raul, the manager was amazing! Great customer service! Took care of us by getting us a room at 10am right as we walked in for our reservation when check in time is usually 4pm. We even got a text from Norton the night before greeting us for our stay. Complementary continental breakfast in the morning consist of coffe, tea, assorted pastries, oatmeal, fruit, and yogurt. View from the 8th floor room and terrace was great! We picked up lunch from near by beechers, Piroshky, and ginger beer and ate it up on the terrace. Definitely will be staying here again!…
We got off the NCL cruise from Alaska a little too early at 8:00am, we had decided to stay a day in Seattle to see around before we board on the plane. So I checked in in this hotel which has the best location to shop/go around Seattle. Fortunately, Raul the manager was on duty and accommodated us that early and was very nice enough to upgrade our room to a better view location. He’s attentive and kind. The room was perfectly located with a view, I love the soft pillows, the bed was very comfortable, I would definitely recommend this place.
