From check in to check out, the Hyatt Regency was a wonderful hotel. We requested a corner floor with a view, but when we arrived realized how high up it was and asked to change to a lower floor. It was no problem and our concierge was so polite and friendly. Our room was clean, spacious, and quiet. We even wondered if other people were on our floor. We were able to walk and use public transportation to go everywhere we wanted and delicious restaurants were close by. I would defintely stay here again when I visit Seattle.
You felt welcomed from the moment you arrived. The staff wanted you to feel at home and they did a phenomenal job! Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The dining area was very clean, modern, and well priced.
I stayed for 4nights at the hotel. The place is super clean and the facilities were modern. The bed and mattress are very comfy, and the large TV screen was a value add. A couple of things that ruined what could have been a perfect stay are the noisy fridge in the room and a rude front desk staff. I would definitely recommend a stay at the hotel despite the unpleasant experience with one of the staff members.
2 stars earned for a clean room. Other than being clean, this hotel misses the mark. The "market" to grab a snack, bottle of water or something for the room was closed on Friday at 6 pm. The restaurant has about 8 choices for food. Not even a simple burger. 3 entrees to choose from plus pizza. The rooms are poorly designed, at best. We paid more for a corner room. Save your money. Nothing special about them other than there was a see through blind on the window so we had sunlight until late!! Ridiculous. Put a curtain up! No charger, outlet , plug or port between the two beds. None. You have to plug your device at the desk. Really? No doors on shower. Looks "cool" but water all over the floor, especially with kids, not "cool" No concierge on premises. They work "remote" lol. Really? We were told "oh he services the 3 downtown properties so it's more convenient for him to work remotely " lol. Glad his job of customer service can be done (not!) Remotely. Tv? Lol. Everyone is raving about the size (65 inch) Sure that's nice. But maybe you should have spent a few nickels on decent wifi/cable so it doesn't freeze every 5 seconds. No luggage racks in room. No fan in bathroom. No drawers. No dresser or ledge to put stuff on. You want minimalist this is the hotel for you! Good luck with the front desk answering the phone after 8 pm. Maybe they go work remotely with the concierge! Save your money. Stay somewhere else. What a joke. Oh and song to speak to management. They weren't around either....…
Overall this is a great property and we had a beautiful corner room with views out to the Puget Sound…. Views cannot be beat. Beds and very comfortable and rooms new and well maintained. That said the continued excuse that the Club Lounge is closed for COVID safety is getting old. The lounge is closed because of economic reasons…. It’s a $$ issue nothing to do with health at this point. I have stayed at several non North American Hyatts that have fully functional clubs throughout COVID. The restaurant is small for the size of the hotel and not a lot of options. Very concerning for when things really get back to normal. Not sure they’ll be able to handle it. Tidal at the Hyatt Olive 8 across the street is closed on Sunday’s and Mondays which further complicates things. Hopefully the hotel will bring most services back this summer!…
Service was great ! Room had all modern conveniences. Multiple options for restaurants. Great downtown location - just 3 blocks from major shopping, 4 blocks from Monorail and Lightrail. Conference rooms were open and spacious. AV support well above outstanding !
Beautiful hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nice clean room. Loved the casting option on the huge tv. Beds were very soft and comfortable. Market was great for breakfast—lots of choices.
Typically I love the Hyatt Regency. Quiet and secure. This past trip however was NOT quiet, and definitely NOT secure. My family and I stayed in an Executive Suite, expecting certain levels of service and accommodation. Instead, we were greeted with hundreds of people congregating outside our door, with their shoes removed lining the halls. All day and all night this was the scene. Our door was blocked, preventing us from being able to enter and exit comfortably, or even safely for that matter. Never have I felt trapped and unsafe in my own hotel room, let alone in a suite at the Hyatt!
It is clear that the Hyatt Regency Seattle has put a lot of thought into the little and big things that makes guest stays beyond pleasant. The bright and cheery rooms, the modern conveniences in the sleeping area and in the bathroom, and the guest services were all top shelf! This hotel was top notch! I would stay there again!
Brunch was very good. Beautiful views of downtown. Great location. Close to the Convention center and good shopping. The room was clean and new. The gym is nice and the membership lounge is sweet! This is a great Hyatt property.
