Darryl is a gracious host and this is a great place. It has a great living room/library area. The garden is delightful with a flowing fountain in the middle surrounded by flowers and bushes. The Rose room, while not huge, was perfect! The bed comfy, a flat screen TV, and one would have to admit an interesting shower/bathroom set up....

I stayed here one night with my boyfriend. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. There was a nice outdoor area off the dining area with a fountain. I was a little disappointed with breakfast. It was a lovely set up at a large dining room table, but there wasn't any hot breakfast such as bacon or eggs....

The house was beautiful and in a great area. We stayed there on a mini vacation and it was a very enjoyable area. The gentleman that greeted us was nice but fairly flat. There was a little bit of a spark of personality at the end of our tour of the house and grounds. We stayed in the Venetian suite...

The house is beautiful and in a lovely neighborhood. I stayed in the Emerald suite with 3 others which was nice, but unfortunately I found to be extremely expensive ($508 for 2 nights) and not worth it- we ended up leaving the next day. Although a decent stay, I was very disappointed in their breakfast. I needed to go out...

The house was beautiful and the host very amicable. The rooms were old , but nicely furnished and the beds very comfortable. The only negative was the breakfast that had very limited selection and no hot dishes.

We actually stayed there last September, but I am writing now because my husband and I were talking about hotels and I asked him what was his favorite of all the places we have stayed, and he said the Bacon Mansion. (And we have stayed in a lot of very nice places.) We already have plans to return this summer....

my daughter and I stayed for 1 night here.... I booked a long time in advance so was very disappointed to be put in the basement room .... It was more like a dungeon ! One very small high up narrow window, the rest of the room was lit by at least a dozen lamps and lights..... Awful especially in...

We've stayed here twice in the past year and had wonderful experiences both times. I used to live in Capitol Hill in Seattle before I moved to San Francisco a few ears ago, so when I come back I want to slide right back into the neighborhood that makes me feel at home. The Bacon is on a quiet street...

We arrived at the Bacon about 2:30pm & were greeted by a friendly guy who helped us carry our bags to our 2nd floor room. We had wet clothes from a sweat lodge ceremony the prior evening & asked if we could dry them. He took the clothes & brought them back a couple of hours later which we appreciated...

Just returned from spending 3 nights at Bacon Mansion. Everything was top-notch. Stayed in the Emerald Suite, very large, comfortable room with large bathroom and separate sitting area. Daryl and his staff were extremely accommodating and provide a perfect mix of comfort and privacy. Great location and an interesting mix of guests.
