A very disappointing Hilton experience. The polite staff is the only reason I’m giving a 2. The room was dank, outdated, and reeked of cigarettes. It was hot, had flying insects, and a dishwasher full of the previous guest's dirty dishes. The shower/bathtub had to have a handicapped bar so you could pull yourself up into it and lower yourself out of it. I’ve not seen a more dangerous bathroom in a hotel before this one. If we had required this room for more than a night's sleep, I would have left immediately to find other accommodations. Our room was a 1 bedroom family suite with a separate living/kitchen area.

Hotel's Favourite
We often stay at Homewood Suites and found this hotel had all the expected great amenities. Our King suite on the 8th floor was quiet, clean and spacious. The full kitchenette was splendid for a few light meals and snacks. There is a large QFC grocery conveniently located a few blocks away with lots of deli items- seafood, salads and hot meals to go. We feasted on delicious shrimp caesar salad several times for lunch. The location is perfect for convention attendees and also for exploring Seattle. For $3 we took the light rail from SeaTac airport to Westlake Center, and walked the 5 blocks uphill. Most businesses have awnings which protect you from the rain if you choose your route wisely. My husband soon found the Convention Center shortcut which put him only a block from the nearest convention entrance. There was lots of restaurants nearby for dining, our favorites were Romio's Pizza and Biang Biang Noodles. The staff were very good. Checkin was fast and easy. We had a small maintenance issue that was addressed very quickly ( ceiling light not working) by very pleasant staff. We opted not to have daily housekeeping- but easily got our towels changed as needed by the amenable maid on our floor. Breakfast was standard for this chain, hot items rotated daily but fruit, oatmeal, yoghurt, bagels and pastries were trusted standbys and fresh daily. There was even rice offered at daily breakfast for Asian guests. Coffee lovers will be in heaven as pots are available all day right next to the lobby. Despite the negative reviews, we had a wonderful stay. We'd stay here again in heartbeat. Well done, Homewood Suites.

Homeless forces them to lock lobby doors. Encampment directly across the entry. And if you get the right room they can watch you so you have to suffer in a dimly light room using a flashlight, Parking was horrible the 5 floor obstacle course is one thing but trying to part in such tight spaces, as I was unfortunate and incited damage. Carpet was so dirty was had to wear shoes everywhere including the bathroom. The doors did not open or close, so if you have a teenager that deserves her privacy be aware. And after I reported all this they kindly said thank you for you stay as they handed me the bill. Terrible!

This Hotel DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING!!! I understand that Seattle is usually no above 75. However, an outside temperature of 85 should not make it so this hotel's AC does not function. The faucets are not attached to the sinks. We had two rooms and my friends also were staying. ALL of the faucets had to be held with one hand to turn water on and off with the other because the faucets were not attached. The drains were clogged and many of the electrical outlets did not functions. The rooms were 87 degrees. I had an elderly parent in on of the rooms who became ill due to the heat. This should not be a Hilton property.

Seattle area native in the city for an event with family. Typically stay with silver cloud hotels or other 3 or 4 star hotels. Would not recommend this hotel for following reasons: Directly across the street from a homeless encampment, property needs cleaning up including paint and wall repairs, garbage picked up around drop off area, plus our room was terrible. Paid about $500 for a “suite” that was very tiny, dark, had zero air circulation, the toilet ran, outside of appliances such as refrigerator were dirty, there were multiple areas just in our room where paint had been scratched off or holes patched in the walls but never repainted. Strong scented unpleasant flower smell pumped into the room. The nightstand looked as though it had been dragged on gravel then put back in the room. The bathroom counter was so tiny, one person couldn’t even put their toiletries there - this room is designed to hold up to and including six people. Only positives: Front desk woman was kind. Clean bathroom They had almond milk at breakfast bar. This hotel is terrible - worst in last 20 years we have had. Stay elsewhere and pay more for Uber. Just bad.

Extremely disappointed that Hilton put his name on this hotel. They lack of housekeeping and cleaning people. They only clean your room on the 4th day of your stay. The carpet in the hallways looks very dirty, it seems it has not been vacuum in weeks (and it needs a shampoo urgently). The carpet at all the room entrances of our floor look like the attached pictures. I never took my shoes off while inside the room, always with slippers or shoes. The carpet is very dirty everywhere The toilet paper is like sand paper (I paid $300 per night and expected much better). The free breakfast is terrible, only sugary cereal (no granola) and the sugary yogurt. No whole wheat bread. The fried eggs seemed artificial. The people at the front desk were very nice and cooperative (at least). The rooms are very noisy since they face Pike Street and Boren Avenue, both with a steep slope and you can hear the cars all the time. The elevators are on one corner of the building, if your room is at the end of the hallway you will be walking 2-3 minutes from the elevator to your room each way (ours was the last room on the hallway).

Hard to think of where to start. We stayed here for a week, using it as a base camp for exploring Seattle and areas around it (Bainbridge Island, Mt. Rainier, etc.) As a Hilton Diamond member (not a flex, just a fact), I'm embarrassed to have used my points and spent half of my family vacation in this hotel. The room was large (King Suite), with a pull-out couch for our two kids. Nice TVs. A kitchen. That's about the best thing I can say about the place. The problems started immediately. Since we arrived later in the day, we immediately opened the pull-out couch. What we found was something that even the most generous person couldn't call a mattress. It was literally a "bed" of springs, covered by material. I wouldn't put my worst enemy on that..yet..I had to put my kids there. We literally had to scrounge, and then beg for, blankets so we could create a makeshift mattress topper. We did contact the front desk to see if there was another room available, but the only one available was a small, dark, musty room that had a wonderful view of the courtyard, and the closed, green pool that looked like a scene from The Last of Us. Since we were there for 7 days, we asked for the room to be serviced. Got a lot of pushback on that, but on the 4th day someone did come in and pretend to straighten up. Which was a mistake on our part because we realized much later in the trip that there were some key items that "disappeared" during our Seattle stay; a hat, multi-tool, and battery pack Guess I'll bullet point it: - Dirty rooms - - Pull-out couch just springs and a cover - Had to beg for blankets for my kids - Stolen items (hat, multi-tool, battery)

The king suite was lovely and roomy for my 4 night stay. However, there was no housekeeping services despite the sign in the room promising service on request, which I did. Maids told me they were allowed to clean only 10 rooms per day to avoid contact with guests since Covid, and that rooms were disinfected only after the 5 day of stay. I had to sneak clean towels off the maid's cart myself and was told to make my own bed and empty my garbage each day. If the hotel was concerned about Covid, why wasn't there a mask mandate? I contacted Gillian the manager to no avail. Also, the nightly price was $40 higher than what I had booked on Hilton.com weeks before. Zach, the sales manager, refused to honor the original price. The front desk employees were not well informed about the public transportation. Debra, the kitchen worker, told me which buses to take to avoid walking the hills only after I noticed that 3 different buses passed the front door! The breakfast was adequate; the waffle machine was unavailable most of my stay because they lacked the batter. The Wednesday night food offering was poor: salami and crackers with canned soup. Guests looked embarrassed. Despite being near the Convention Center, the neighborhood is run down. Don't accept a room facing Pike Street which overlooks a noisy highway and a homeless encampment. Be aware that the walk from the hotel down to Pikes Market passes a large area on Pike Street of disruptive homeless people spread out on the sidewalk between 3rd and 4rd sts. Sorry, but I won't stay here again.
