Hotel was clean and the room was great. However, the front desk staff was awful. She was rude, the only thing she cared about was getting my payment and ID. I was the only person checking in so it wasn't like she was attending other customers. They charge parking fees at this hotel however they do not offer valet. Also, they do not mention the fee until check in.
Pros- - good location- we walked to the Space Needle and to Pike Place Market area several times- this also saved some money for parking at those locations - good breakfast included - rooms were spacious - the bathroom door wasn’t see through like most Springhill Suites - easy to get towels when we needed them - elevators were fast, and we seemed to always have one waiting on on on the 1st floor to go up Cons- $25+ tax parking- we parked on the street for free the first couple of days because it was on the weekend - no daily room service if you like to use it
Room and breakfast - nothing to complain about. Review and rating about hotel service. 1. Because of COVID no automatic room cleaning, need to request cleaning - totally understand. So after 3 nights used Mariott app to request room cleaning. Nothing. No acknowledgment. Next day room not cleaned. Oh maybe it was the 'need 24hr notice' so wait another day. Room still not cleaned. By this time (after #2 and #3 below have passed), screw it - more of a hassle to deal with than worth the effort. Maybe it was the app. We'll never know. 2. Toilet flapper issue notice on day 3. Basically water draining from the tank so need to open the tank up and fiddle with flapper. Called to ask for someone to check toilet next day when we were out. Next day head out and return to room: Apparently no one showed up - toilet in same condition when we left room. Called again. Luckily repair guy was still around and he replaced flapper in 10min. He was the highlight of the hotel service. 3. Ordered room service - just a bowl of soup. "Room service" means pick up food from front desk -- no problem, totally understand. Person on phone says front desk will call when food is ready. 40min minutes later still no call. I call the front desk on the HOTEL ROOM phone and the guy says "uhh ... we've been trying to reach you - tried calling over and over. Seems like your phone wasn't on." And I confirm: "You mean this phone?" (the hotel phone I'm using to talk to you right now?). " uhh yep." Seriously? When we got back home, 900 miles from Seattle, there was a message on my HOME phone that the hotel was trying to reach me because the other phone (connected to the Mariotte app) wasn't picking up. Umm .. why not call the HOTEL ROOM phone, where we are most likely to be given I called in the order from the HOTEL ROOM phone. Why call my HOME phone that is 900 miles away? Also no evidence of call from hotel on my cell phone. Expected just a little more from a $260-a-night room hotel.…
Nice hotel, very clean and with a friendly staff. Onsight parking is a bit expensive at $25 a day. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is fresh and better than average for similar hotels. There is no pool. Right near the highway. Not many dinner options right near the hotel although there is nice pizza place right around the corner.
My partner and I stayed at this hotel in late June. We were very impressed by our stay. The bed had a very soft and comfortable comforter. The pillows are soft, but I personally prefer my pillows to have more neck support. The toiletries are from Paul Mitchell (according to my partner, this is a high quality product.). The room was pretty quiet and spacious. The lobby is very inviting. There is cool water available and coffee in the AM. The morning breakfast offers scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon (depending on the day) and other continental breakfast items. There is a full bar with reasonably priced drinks. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They offer suggestions on what to see and how to get there. There is guest laundry available for $2.00 per load. ($1.00 for washer & $1,00 for dryer). In terms of location, it is perfect. It was about 20-25 minute drive from Seattle-Tacoma airport. We were walking distance (less than 1.5 miles) from the Space Needle, Waterfront Park, and Pike's Market. If you do not mind walking, you can save yourself the hassle/cost of parking. If you have trouble walking, there are plenty of electronic scooters around (those are super fun!) We were able to walk to all of those attractions as well as various restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. If I had to nitpick: The elevators are a little slow The pillows are not very supportive of the neck Two of the dryers were not working (Guest laundry)…
We reserved à room à month before Pride. I went to review the email and couldn't find it. I called and apparent whoever réserved he room for us at their réservation line did not save our réservation. The hotel desk staff member was rude. They wanted à lot more money for à smaller room and less beds. They refuse to make it right and never even apologize. We will never stay there after this and will tell anyone who will listen about their poor and rude customer service.
We were visiting our daughter who lives in downtown Seattle, this location was convenient to everything we needed, and the price was reasonable. When I started to look for accommodations in the area most places I was comfortable staying in were at least 100.00 more per night. Having free breakfast saved us at least 50.00 each morning and the options were varied, not the same thing each morning. The room was comfortable for the three of us traveling and staying 6 nights. The bed was a bit harder than we are used to, but sometimes those overly fluffy pillow tops make it hard for me to sleep. Parking is available at 25.00 which is about the going rate around, there is a pay lot right next door that was cheaper, but we worried it wasn’t as safe as the garage parking offered. Keep in mind like everywhere in the world right now there is a labor shortage so they informed us housekeeping was by request or at check out. This isn’t a problem for us as we prefer no one enter our room while we are staying. We had no problem grabbing extra towels etc in the morning from the housekeeping cart, and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Garage parking is tight spaces as expected. We will probably stay here again as it was a good value and convenient. I will say you hear the highway noise at all times day or night, but it’s a city so that’s to be expected. We were on the 2nd floor so we did not have a view and this may have contributed to the highway noise. We did not do much walking this trip, but I would have felt comfortable walking during daylight hours, definitely not comfortable at night.…
We stayed here 3 different times over a 2 week period, incl the night before a cruise from Port 91. 1.3 miles from port, $20 taxi. Suites are HUGE, full HOT breakfast incl bagels, gym, walk to Pikes market. Pizza, Subway & Whole Foods within walking distance. We needed an early check in for a sick family member & they accommodated us. Self parking was $25 per night, MUCH cheaper than $40-$50 at other hotels. Free SHOWTIME.
The staff was kind but the hotel is horrible. I asked for a quiet room away from the freeway. All double queens are facing the freeway so my room faced the freeway. In addition, there is construction going on which is noisier than the freeway. The internet was not functioning (and I was there for work and needed internet), I was told there is no housekeeping service, the hotel is dingy and worn. I do not recommend this hotel.
Service was friendly. Breakfast help was some of the most efficient I have ever seen. They kept all the breakfast foods very well stocked, turned tables fast to that there was a place to sit down, and kept the coffee flowing. Rooms and public areas were clean. My only complaint is that they are not still not cleaning rooms daily, only after you stay for 7 days or more. You can ask for anything to be replenished (soap, towels, etc) at the front desk and they will give them to you. Did not use the workout room or the bar. Shower water pressure is a 6.5/10. Parking is $25/day. Very easy access to the freeway.
