This is reference to the lobby bar only. Well put together and articulate, my female friend and I stopped in for cocktails. Female bartender ("Kurtiss" was listed on our tab) was less than gracious. She immediately requested my Amex (and ran a $1.00 charge to make sure it wasn't a phony card). She pushed us to run up our tab and was noticeably more pleasant to any male sitting at the bar. Eventually, she produced our tab which had a 20% tip added automatically. A venue like the Four Seasons should have higher expectations in the way they serve (and treat) their guests.
We stayed during the Covid-19 pandemic. Not an ideal time to travel, but the Four Seasons went above and beyond to make the trip feel as special and normal as possible while practicing the strictest safety protocols. Temperatures were checked every time we returned to the hotel, everyone wore protective gear and guests were required to as well. Everything was spotlessly clean, and they aren't letting anyone in the lobby (food delivery people, etc) if they are not staying at the hotel. Valets wiped out the car every time they brought it up. There is not a breakfast restaurant open, but their location is an easy walk to many options. Their staff went above and beyond as usual and we felt beyond safe staying here.
We haven’t travelled a ton during the pandemic, but when we have, we’ve come to expect places (even higher end properties) to be understaffed or to have undertrained staff. I completely understand how hard it is to recruit and retain highly skilled staff in this economy. With all of that said, this hotel was the best staffed hotel we’ve ever stayed at, including before the pandemic. Every single employee we interacted with was kind, warm, and welcoming. On top of that, many went far out of their way to help my son be excited to be a guest at the hotel. The location is fantastic and the heated pool was a huge hit with our family. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!
We stay at Four Seasons a minimum of 5 times a year. The property in Seattle was a new one, and the experience was fabulous, as always. There is a decidedly ‘boutique’ ambiance to this one, and we appreciated the quality of choices made in the interior design.
fabulous bathroom great linens comfortable and efficient I am troubled by the homelessness and the area does seem to be a magnet for the dispossessed people are friendly and helpful but overall there seems to be a great formality to service it does deliver efficient service but does not elevate the soul despite this reservation we will return as it offers comfortable accommodation
My wife and I had a short stay here for two nights. We were in town to attend a show at The Showbox across the street and mostly chose the Four Seasons out of convenience. We are so glad that we did because we had the greatest experience. So much so, that I can't imagine we will ever stay anywhere else when we're in Seattle. We arrived incredibly early (7:30am) due to the time of our flight and they tried their best to check us in as early as possible. We enjoyed breakfast at Goldfinch Tavern and eventually got into our room around 10:00 when the assistant manager Gun Kang arrived. He congratulated us on our anniversary and also treated us to a room upgrade. He took note of the watch I was wearing and we chatted a bit about watches while we were getting checked in. Once in our room, our bags were handled by Jesse who was also extremely friendly. Throughout our stay all the staff remembered my wife and I by name and it was such a warm feeling. On the second day, Gun had found me and told me that he brought one of his watches from home that he wanted to show me (it was beautiful, of course) he allowed me to try it on and "test drive" it for several hours while we walked around Pike's! We ate at Goldfinch Tavern every day for breakfast and once for dinner and the food was fantastic every time. The staff was friendly and attentive. There was an added on service charge that got a bit confusing for us when it came time to tip. We have frequented many Four Seasons locations before including all of the Hawai'i locations and Milan. While those resorts certainly have a "grandness" to them due to their scale, the staff here made the quality of this stay exemplary and probably the most memorable of them all. …
Wonderful hotel in the heart of Downtown Seattle. Close to everything Seattle has to offer. Shopping close by. Walking distance to pier. Lovely staff, comfortable beds, quiet night sleep. Lot of fine eateries close by.
One of the best hotel experience in my life. I stayed here for my honeymoon, and I was very happy to be there. Among all other features, I'd like to show my gratitude to the warm hospitality of all staffs of this hotel. View and location were good, pool and room raised my bar, but many other hotels may have similar degree on these values. But it was very impressive that all the staffs were kind and eager to satisfy guests. It was really a wonderful experience. Of course I found a few points that it requires to improve, but I am marking the best for all below features, because those faults were not that big and the staffs tried their best to improve.
Stayed for 5 days at the hotel. They provided superb service beating my expectation from doorman, room service, concierge, request in the app, checking out. Everyone did their best for the client. They even gave my kid a welcome amenit. That’s what you call service-oriented hotel.
We visited in February 2020 (just now getting caught up on reviews since COVID) for one night. This hotel has a great location within walking distance to all the major downtown Seattle landmarks. We used (and loved) the complimentary Tesla house car service for a dinner at Canlis. The staff were incredible attentive and welcoming. Our room was outfitted with all the latest tech, on theme with the location. Dining was also great — buzzy brunch scene.
