The Paramount Hotel garners acclaim for its inviting atmosphere and central location, which reviewers agree makes exploring the city a breeze. Cleanliness is a standout feature, with guests consistently noting the spotless condition of rooms and bathrooms.
While the accommodations are praised for their comfort and in some cases, luxurious touches, opinions on value are mixed, with additional fees and sporadic service quality being points of contention. Despite these concerns, the friendly and efficient staff often leave a positive impression on visitors.

Detailed Reviews
My initial feeling when it comes to hotels is to get the cheapest rate. My initial reaction for Seattle was to go out to SeaTac and use the light rail to come into the city. I've never been happier to go against my initial reaction. Not only did I get a great rate for a Downtown Seattle hotel, but it was clean, modern, comfortable and an almost unbeatable location if you want to hit tourist spots (Pikes Place Market is a 10 minute walk; direct monorail to Space Needle is a 5 minute walk), the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay the best. I cannot recommend The Paramount Hotel enough. I can't wait to go back to Seattle and stay there again.

My sister and I traveled to the Pacific NW for the first time from North Carolina. We weren’t familiar with the Paramount brand, but decided to try to our in both Portland and Seattle. We weren’t disappointed.
This Seattle property is located walking distance from several attractions/places of interests. We walked to breakfast, lunch and dinner each day as well as to the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, the Aquarium and Argosy Cruises. Note some of these places were close to a mile from our hotel, so good walking shoes and outer gear are advisable.
Ride sharing and public transportation are also easy to use to/from the property and around town. Restaurants and shopping were in plenty. The Paramount Theater is about a block away.
The hotel staff were helpful with giving directions and responding to our requests for clean towels & cloths.
Here’s on piece of advice that I wish we knew: If using Uber/Lyft to/from the airport, do not pay more than $40 as $40 is the flat taxi rate. This bit of information would’ve been helpful upon check-in, but the clerk told us when we were checking out. Basically, ride sharing apps experience surges and the prices fluctuate. We paid nearly $60 for an Uber ride and the guest moments before us paid $70. Also, consider the train for about $2 or so. This option takes a little longer but if definitely inexpensive.
Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would stay here again!

MsPearl, thank you for the kind words and review! We're thrilled that you decided to give both our Seattle & Portland properties a chance during your trip to the West Coast. Your feedback above is spot on; with our central location, a good pair of walking shoes can get you around just fine. We'd love to see you visit again when future travels bring you back to Seattle! Warmly, Ian.

We stayed here for 5 nights in the middle of January, and were very sad to leave.
From check in to check out, we enjoyed our stay. We were in room 613, it was quiet mostly with the only noise being from the bins being emptied early in the morning.
We arranged our airport transfer with the concierge, Eric. Originally we were going to use the light link rail, but due to him informing us that we would have to change trains at pioneer square, he arranged for a town car to collect us. This made our lives a lot easier.
We had a list of restaurants given to us at check in, which was. Helpful to us when we needed something to eat on the first night.
The hotel is well located, 10 minutes walk to pike place market, 5 minutes to the monorail and light link.
The room was large, very comfortable bed, and a nice warm shower for the mornings.
We will definitely look to return here on our next trip back here.

I'm so glad that I booked this hotel for my recent Girl's Getaway Trip to Seattle. It was easy to book online several months before our arrival and they honored the great promotional rate that I booked when I checked out. The room was nice, comfortable, and clean. It is a great location (a short walk from the light rail train that we took from/to the airport and a short walk to most of the spots that we visited). I also appreciated the honesty and helpfulness of the housekeeping staff that helped me to get back items that I had mistakenly left behind.

Okay right from the initial booking online through to check in and check out… it was perfect! The room was excellent, King sized bed. We loved the bathroom, as it has its own door to the toilet and tub separate from the sink. Fantastic shower, with shower gell and shampoo dispensers right on the wall in the shower.. Blow dryer even an iron in the room too. It had a bar fridge and a large TV!
It was more importantly Quiet…..
This hotel is very central to downtown and we were able to walk to everything we came to do.
We walked to the Climate Pledge Arena it was a 20 min walk. 10 min walk to the Pike Place Market…
The Hotel desk staff were very helpful…
We parked our car directly across the street at the Hyatt for $37 per day safe and secure…
We’d stay here again and would highly recommend it to others….

The hotel boasts a great location and offers a very good array of features and amenities for the rate they charge. The on site oriental dining room offers pretty decent food and there is a discount/break on breakfast.
Would recommend.

We were 2 tourists who had been to Seattle a few times previously. The Paramount Hotel was perfect in every way. On the map, before I booked, I thought it was a few blocks from the main areas, but it actually is right in the heart of the city. Walking distance to everything. Greeting at the front desk was warm and cordial and the room was very nicely appointed and large, with toilet and shower in a separate room so that one person could be using the sink area while another was in the shower. The hotel is also very stylish and honestly, I have nothing to complain about...a nice hotel at a very fair rate. Only downside has nothing to do with the hotel: Seattle was kind of quiet due to empty offices and relatively few tourists compared to our previous visits so streets were empty.

Excellent staff & location!
Pros:Central location, easy walking & mass transit
Quiet, great sleep with comfortable bed & cotton linens
Lockbox worked easily
Heat/AC good
Cons:Wi-fi required frequent sign-ins
Carpet looked filthy
TV a nuisance with service down often & inconvenient method for finding stations
Phone didn't work consistently
Must request comforter for bed
Frig too tiny,-lots of wasted space with huge set of drawers
Don't bother separating for recycling bin in room. Hskpg dumped it in with trash.
Room had a bit of an odor, would be good to air out and/or get rid of carpet & install wood flooring

Loved staying at the Paramount and will definitely go back. Their reservation process allowed us to customize our check in time, our hotel room, and ensured we were happy from before start to finish. Great customer service from the Valet to the front desk to the room.

No resort fees at all!
The best and cheapest way from SEA-TAC airport to downtown is the light rail; there's a station at the airport; you get off at Westlake Center - its in the center of downtown. Take the exit near Nordstrom to Pine Street. The Paramount is just a few (maybe four) blocks up hill. I think its a very nice boutique type of hotel; very nice staff and great beds.
Not exactly sure, but the staff is extremely friendly to go out of their way to help or lead you to someone who can
It's downtown at Pine and 7th, just a couple of blocks from shopping, and about a 10 or 15-minute walk from Pike Place Market.
