We had a lovely stay at the Alexis while visiting Seattle a few days prior to our Alaskan cruise. When we arrived, we were so surprised they had upgraded us to a roomy suite which we really enjoyed! We were able to walk to all of the tourist spots, and liked being especially close to the market and the waterfront. The bed was so comfy!! We loved the Alexis so much that when our flight was cancelled post cruise we came back for one more night!
My family and I traveled to Seattle for the first time and fell in love. The Alexis Royal Sonesta was a huge part of that. Everyone at the front desk were so kind and accommodating specifically Christine, Evan and Juan. The hotel is a wonderful location within walking distance to so much of what Seattle has to offer. We had adjoining rooms that were nicely appointed and wanted for nothing. We will definitely return!
There were a million hotels we looked through before finally choosing this one and I am glad we did. Aside from the convenient location where you can walk to most of the attractions in the area, the hotel itself has a nice boutique feel and homey ambiance in the rooms. Our room was great, it even featured light fixtures made by the manufacturer I work for which was cool to see in person. The room looked like a suite without the cost of a suite. It was clean, spacious and cozy. I will 100% stay here again if we come back to Seattle. The staff was also very friendly. Highly recommend.
Have stayed in several different rooms at this location over time. every room is different that the other. Not cookie cutter. The staff is delightful, friendly and engaging. The Bookstore Bar & Grill is by far my favorite part, they food for breakfast and diner are a value and delicious. Location on First street is close to the Pier, Pike Place Market, Art Gallery, Aquarium and many businesses all within walking distance.
I have stayed at the Alexis when it was under prior ownership so this was my first time back under Sonesta ownership. I was very pleasantly surprised! I was greeted warmly as soon as we entered the hotel and check in was a breeze. We loved our room for many reasons but the first would have to be how comfy the bed was! It is lower to the ground but I liked that. We slept quite well and found the noise level in our room to be perfect. Sometimes the downtown noise on the streets can be terribly loud but we did not find that to the be the case on our recent visit. The bathroom was also a pleasant surprise as it was quite spacious. Lastly, the location is very near the Pike Place Market which we walked to on Sunday morning but also it is walkable from the stadiums which we enjoyed since we went to a baseball game. Nice not to pay for Stadium parking. I would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.…
This hotel is fabulous. They have amazing rooms with really really cute and funky decor. I will stay here every time I stay downtown because I love it so much. The price is very reasonable for the service and accommodation.
What a cute hotel right in the heart of downtown and close to all the great tourist spots! The hotel staff are all so pleasant and welcoming which always helps set the tone for your stay! My room had everything I needed and the bed and pillows so comfortable too! Love the scent of the body wash!!
I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s a very short walk to the ferry, pikes market, the pier and so much more. Our room was clean and very quiet. We had a great view of the Ferris wheel and the mountains out in the distance. Huge shoutout to Jillian! She was so helpful in helping us get to Tacoma and went above and beyond!
We had come in for a concert (if you haven't seen Billie Eilish live, do it) and not only did we check-in early but Colin upgraded us to their best suite! I'm going to be dreaming about that large soaking tub for years. So HUGE shoutout to Colin for making that happen! The suite was nothing short of gorgeous, the response time for guest requests was quick, and a bonus is that there is a valet that knows manual (hard to find sometimes at valet-only properties). Seriously, it was my first time to Seattle, and while the location is top-notch, what will have me coming back every time was the level of service!
This was a magical weekend and, believe me, we needed some magic. Our room was beautiful and clean. The location was ideal and walkable to almost everywhere we wanted to go. The service was outstanding. Howie and Noah went above and beyond the call of duty. Will definitely stay there again and I’ve already told friends and family.
