The rooms are a great size, I booked 2 rooms. 1 with 2 queens (for my wife and I and our 2 children who are 2.5 years and 6 weeks) and the other a king room. The room with the king has an enormous bathroom, very nice! Location: great location! Minutes from the waterfront, pike market. Turn left out the hotel and it’s beautiful Seattle. Turn right and you’re in crack head land. Amenities: as you’d expect. The gym is pretty good but there’s a “functional” gym and then a cardio gym. Don’t be mislead, they’re both tiny but good enough to workout in Staff: friendly! Value: questionable… especially when you have to add parking in
My family and I traveled to Seattle for the first time and fell in love. The Alexis Royal Sonesta was a huge part of that. Everyone at the front desk were so kind and accommodating specifically Christine, Evan and Juan. The hotel is a wonderful location within walking distance to so much of what Seattle has to offer. We had adjoining rooms that were nicely appointed and wanted for nothing. We will definitely return!
Located on first street, the waterfront (ferry, harbor tours, pier restaurants, shopping, ferris wheel, etc) are just 2 blocks away, Pikes Market isa 10 min walk, and the Seattle Mariners ballpark is about a 20 min walk. If you want to hit the highlights of downtown Seattle, the Alexis Hotel is the place to be. The rooms are well kept, and the staff are all very friendly.
6 of us (3 rooms) stayed here on a THU night. Rooms spacious, clean, relatively quiet. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Used their valet parking for our large vehicle. They have a bar off from the lobby that is open in the evenings (and you can get coffee and a muffin in the morning).
This boutique hotel has extremely friendly and helpful staff!! The location is within walking distance to most downtown and waterfront sites and many amazing restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Rooms are unique, comfy, and very clean. We didn’t bring our pets but LOVE that they are pet friendly. Highly recommend The Alexis Royal Sonesta Hotel.
My wife and I stayed here for a night before leaving on an Alaskan Cruise (NCL). The staff was very nice and the hotel was very clean and quiet. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends and family. It's also within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants, bars, the market, and other attractions within DT Seattle.
Sonesta was great, the staff was wonderful. The valet staff was also great. The location was exactly where coming to Seattle one should be! Sonesta Alexis first!! The room, hotel everything lived up to what they said and more. The staff always asking if there is anything we need or they can do. Helped us with directions and local public transportation when we asked. 10 thumbs up. If you go te Seattle stay here it is awesome. We have stayed in other Sonesta hotels you can't go wrong. So far this one is my favorite. Enjoy!!!
We had a lovely stay at the Alexis while visiting Seattle a few days prior to our Alaskan cruise. When we arrived, we were so surprised they had upgraded us to a roomy suite which we really enjoyed! We were able to walk to all of the tourist spots, and liked being especially close to the market and the waterfront. The bed was so comfy!! We loved the Alexis so much that when our flight was cancelled post cruise we came back for one more night!
There were a million hotels we looked through before finally choosing this one and I am glad we did. Aside from the convenient location where you can walk to most of the attractions in the area, the hotel itself has a nice boutique feel and homey ambiance in the rooms. Our room was great, it even featured light fixtures made by the manufacturer I work for which was cool to see in person. The room looked like a suite without the cost of a suite. It was clean, spacious and cozy. I will 100% stay here again if we come back to Seattle. The staff was also very friendly. Highly recommend.
Have stayed in several different rooms at this location over time. every room is different that the other. Not cookie cutter. The staff is delightful, friendly and engaging. The Bookstore Bar & Grill is by far my favorite part, they food for breakfast and diner are a value and delicious. Location on First street is close to the Pier, Pike Place Market, Art Gallery, Aquarium and many businesses all within walking distance.
