Truly the worst customer service I've experienced. Felt highly disrespected and ignored. The young lady with orange hair at the desk made me and my partner truly uncomfortable and accomplished her mission of asking us feel unwanted. Never was welcomed when we walked in the door. Arrived at 11am, asked to be put onto the early check in list, attempted to check into hotel and was made to wait until 3PM. I literally asked ever hour and was told the same thing: there were no rooms available. Front desk made no attempt to reach out when the room was ready. No call, text or email. Was not given any information about the hotel, had to keep asking until they had something at 3PM- again nobody reached out and front desk saw us waiting in the lobby for hours. Ice took a minimum on 30 plus minutes to be delivered to room. I will be posting this on all hotel review sites. Truly worst birthday experiences ever. Wish i could share more.

Hotel's Favourite
The best hotel experience…ever! We have traveled a lot. Stayed in a lot of hotels and B&B’s. The Hotel Theodore tops the list. A great location. Fantastic room. Great shower. Super comfortable bed. Quick elevators. Great coffee/scones in the morn, reasonably priced. Very nice lounging facilities in the lobby. Their soap and shampoo were quality products. Complimentary wine in the lobby every evening was the cherry on top! But what makes this place number 1 are the people that work there. Friendly, helpful, kind. We felt like royalty with every encounter, every want or need. It was our anniversary. We were greeted with a chilled bottle of wine in our room with a lovely card. And it was evident in the detail on the card, how much effort was put into that card. It made us feel very special. To the staff of the Hotel Theodore, kudos! You are the best we have ever encountered in our 40 years of experience…at being 25! Thank you so very much for making our travel experience in Seattle so very awesome!

Room Tip: No NFL network on the cable. Our king room was plenty big for us; some might find the bathroom...

Hotel Theodore was a great find, although some may say the rooms were a bit tight (we didn't mind). Great location, only a seven-minute walk to Pike Place Market and the bar/restaurant downstairs, Rider, was a highlight. Fantastic service at Rider (the owner works behind the bar) and a really great atmosphere. I had one of the best blue cheeses I have ever tasted on their charcuterie board - yum! We were unable to sit in the bar one night as it was booked for a private function. The hotel staff were happy for us to buy our own wine from across the road and drink it in their lounge area - they even brought us wine glasses! Would absolutely stay there again.

We got to the hotel early and greeted right away by the front desk. Although we not able to check yet because of room availability we were allowed to leave our luggage while we got a bite to eat down the street. When we returned room was ready. The room itself is very nice, clean, and cozy, although bathroom is a bit small, no issues. Bed was very comfortable. Loved our stay.

From the minute we walked into the hotel lobby we had a very good vibe about Hotel Theodore. The check in was very smooth and we were in our room within minutes. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had two choices of pillows to choose from, soft and fluffier or slightly firmer. We would have no hesitation in selecting this hotel again should we ever make a return visit to Seattle. Hot tip: One block down the street is Anchorhead coffee which I can highly recommend for your first Java of the day! It’s no more than a two minute walk away.

Nice boutique property; lacks some amenities of bigger ones but smaller size, and less people traffic, makes it comfortable. Coffee shop right in hotel makes great java, tea and has breakfast items. King room was very spacious and bed extremely comfortable. Clean, safe and cozy. Price point is near other larger more comprehensive ones so it might be a bit off value/price. Close (< 2 blocks) to Westlake Link rail station which connects to Sea-Tac airport one way, and Lumen Field area the other, so good location. Nordstroms just around the corner and short Walk to Pikes Market. 👍

Classy place with beautiful finishes. Rooms are a little small, but expected in a big city. Clean and friendly. Location is perfect if you’re on foot. Only down side is there no shuttle from SeaTac.

Location is good as it’s near to Westlake Station and it’s in walking distance to Pike Market and Monorail station to Space Needle. Hotel and room are nicely decorated. Staff could have been friendlier. Wardrobe space could be bigger. Room could have a working space desk. Hotel acknowledged on the birthday surprise but did not do anything.
