Quite simply the ABSOLUTE BEST coffee I’ve had during this 2 week trip to the USA. Couldn’t sleep on Monday night (a regular occurrence on this trip) and wandered down to reception around 4:30am to see if the hotel cafe was open yet. It wasn’t….BUT I met the night manager/auditor Amanda and after chatting for a while - she offered to make me a coffee. As she was making it - she was explaining how she was making it (like listening to a David Attenborough voiceover) First sip - absolute nectar of the gods! Amanda’s job isn’t to make coffee. Amanda’s job is to night manage/audit! She wasn’t on duty on Tuesday night🥺…BUT she was there this morning at 5:00am and I’m happy to say…YES - another brilliant coffee experience!😂❤️ Well done Hotel Theodore and VERY WELL DONE Amanda! Highly recommend you stay here and get up early for an Amanda coffee!!…
Darling boutique within an easy walk of all Seattle has to offer. Super comfy beds, lots of character, friendly staff. Strong shower and lovely lounge spaces. Not a ton of extra room, but a well used space. 🏩 Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Theodore. The staff are extremely helpful and delightful to work with. The location of the hotel is within walking distance to many Seattle landmarks such as the Fish Market and monorail which will take you straight to the Space Needle. There is also a Nordstrom and Target within walking distance as well as many other shops if needed. Our group loved the location. The staff helped us with transportation to and from the cruise port as we stayed there after our cruise also. The rooms are small but very nice. The hotel reminded us of a European hotel as far as ambiance and size of rooms. We loved our stay there and would stay again if ever in Seattle again
This hotel was very nice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the rooms were so, so very small. I thought for the size of room, it was definitely over-priced. But over-all, it's a nice place. Valet service is offered for $59 a night, which we opted for because to park it's $39 each time you come and go, also very over-priced.
My rating is that it’s a boutique hotel, not catering to the business community. It was very cute and I loved the fact that bicycles are available to the customers, however I’d like to see it be a hotel for the business customers, it’s and the historical travelers. As such, I give it a 4/5 stars
It’s the little things that justify staying at a really nice hotel. This place has none of them. Instead it has: - A hidden 22 dollar “amenity fee” - People at the desk telling you your rooms not ready, but for a small up charge a delux one is - Fifteen people sitting in the lobby waiting until 4pm when all of our rooms will magically be ready at the same time It’s got that expensive feel, but under the surface, it’s all nickel and dime. Also, the rooms are very small.
The room was really tiny for a four-star hotel. The air conditioning was extremely noisy and we had to turn it off. The worst part about this hotel is that there is no room service. Only if people stay for over five nights they get their rooms cleaned. We wanted to replace our towers and the reception told us that they will charge us for that. You have to go to the reception physically to talk to them because they do not answer the phone. The so-called hotel the restaurant or bar did not have even a cookie for breakfast. In short and horrible experience. And one star hotel masquerading as four star
Overall, I really enjoyed staying at hotel Theodore. The staff was kind, accommodating and always willing to help. I appreciate the text system with the staff as well. Nice extra touch for service! Thank you!
Hotel Theodore was our hotel of choice for a fun night out with the gals in downtown Seattle! The hotel staff were knowledgeable and friendly and helped us pick a spot for dinner, we also enjoyed a complimentary cocktail at their spirit hour. Would recommend to friends and family!
I wanted to stay at a hotel that was walking distance to the convention center and decided to here because the price was very reasonable and I prefer staying at smaller hotels when traveling for work. As soon as I walked in the first thing I noticed was the dreamy scent that greets you upon walking into the lobby. The woman at the front desk (Phoebe) was so kind and helpful. Public service announcement: be nice to those in the service/hospitality industry!!!!! They have to deal with some real mean monsters, I mean guests, from time to time, and it costs nothing to be polite. I haven’t even spent my first night here, but based on the front desk experience alone I know that I’ll be staying here for all my future business trips to SEA. I’ll be sure to update my review once I explore and use more of the hotel amenities over the next 2 days.…
