The hotel owners know that the walls in this hotel are thin. They leave you a pair of earplugs. I had a sleepless night because of the noise from the street and a neighboring room. The bathroom is smaller than the one on a cruise ship.

Hi Scott, Thank you for staying with us. My apologies for experiencing a sleepless night. We do provide earplugs as an extra comfort. The Max being located in downtown Seattle can be exposed to city noise at times. That said, we overwhelming hear that our guests experience a great night's sleep on our luxury beds.

The pictures of this hotel are very deceiving. If you get a room with a king size bed don't expect to have any room for suitcases or even passing each other to get to the bathroom. It is pretty much a bed and a desk. Very cramped and uncomfortable. We only stayed one night and that was plenty to know...

The Max being built in the 1920's is an unique music and art inspired hotel. Our goal is to exceed guests' expectations by creating memorable experiences while staying with us.

This is millennials paradise! What a cool and hip hotel! Lobby is a true gathering place with coffee in morning, happy hour beer in the afternoon, and board games to play after dinner. Located just off the main strip in downtown Seattle. Close to public transportation, Uber is easy to come by, and walkable to downtown or Capitol Hill. My...

Booked room for a night and had a family emergency the day of check-in. We are so Appreciative for the hotel manager for graciously allowing us to cancel less than an hour before check-in without any fee/penalty. Thank you Hotel Max. Hope to make it back and stay with you.

Every city has a few independent, downtown hotels that occupy an old, renovated building. The level and amount of restoration will vary, but these places are usually fun choices because of their great locations, affordable prices, and quirky themes. Service and food are often a focus, but there are compromises. The rooms are often very small and strangely oriented. Views...

Nice hotel for the price, although the rooms are small, and the "closet" is only about 8 inches deep. Free coffee in the morning and a free glass of beer in the lobby at happy hour. Located conveniently in the heart of downtown Seattle. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Internet service was free and excellent - no...

Great location. Amazing and friendly staff. Record player in my room?! I was happy the entire time I stayed here. Food was pretty good, too. My only regret is that I only stayed two nights. 5 stars isnt enough.

Great location. Very good service. Very nicely decorated although the rooms are small. Just fine for what we needed. The downside was the bathrooms although very nicely appointed and functional are incredibly small.

The location is everything for this hotel. They have a free beer hour, which is a great way to mingle and play games in the lobby. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely stay at Hotel Max again.
