The hotel was beyond anything I had experienced in all my years of travel. The super friendly staff, the welcoming environment, the amenities and its location. I was traveling for Drag and the room service acknowledged my request and had a staff member come up and zip up one of my outfits before the gig. The "fabulousness" was everything.
The W Seattle is a comfortable, hip place to stay in Downtown Seattle. The staff are great, the rooms are comfortable and the bar is good fun. I can't say anything bad about the W Seattle. I spent a week in Seattle on a business trip. A highlight of the hotel is Susan at the Whatever Whenever desk who (with some help from her team) helped me scan a business document before an important meeting. I truly felt at home in this hotel; highly recommended!
The hotel is in a great location. The lobby is swanky and there is always something going on. The rooms are normal W decor. The staff at the front desk were excellent. We were given top notch service throughout our stay and our requests were acted upon quickly and with the appropriate consideration. Excellent hotel, excellent service. We highly recommend.
Closed to Norwegian cruise port and pike place Staff are very friendly House keeping is generous and eco friendly Wish lobby is bigger Love food at lobby restaurant and drinks at bar 👍👍 Gym is ok, but No pool ☹️
Definitely will be coming back!! Susan did a wonderful job of checking me in and making sure I had everything I needed squared away for my trip. Her hospitality is the reason I’ll return to this hotel when I visit Seattle again! The room was very clean, the breakfast was nice and I loved how vibrant the hotel was well into the evening!! Not to mention the location is perfect for me coming from the airport!! Would highly recommend!! :)
Room size okay but the service was terrible and front of house staff were amateur and needed reminders before any action taken on requests. Second bad experience with the W (Seattle and Panama). Will not book another W. Seattle, apart from Space needle and the market had very little to offer. Never saw so many street sleepers despite living in London.
The ADA lift to take you to the bar/restaurant is non-operational and according to the staff always breaks after repair ("we spend $600 to get it fixed only for it to break after 30 minutes of usage"). They urged us to write to management because they can't seem to fix it. And the condescending comment from the staff "we hate it as much if not more than you because we have to listen to people complain" is unacceptable. I have a disability and you're making light of it as if listening to handicapped people complain is more annoying than actually being handicapped... Was extremely frustrating as they lock the doors down the block that you can enter on and have NO WAY to access the lower level unless you want to fall down the stairs... The bar and restaurant staff were exceptional and very helpful. Kudos to them for going above and beyond. The cleaning crew was exceptional and were very helpful. Can't get over the frustration of not having an option for someone in a wheelchair or walker to get into the lower level of the hotel. For as much as you pay a night to stay this is NOT ACCEPTABLE. …
Well-located for our two night personal travel needs. Platinum Bonvoy customers upgraded to a nice Corner King. The room was fresh and modern - bed comfy, room spotless, towels fluffy. Front desk employees exceedingly nice. No separate review, but we appreciated the format and vibe of the hotel's lobby breakfast room. Different format than one normally encounters at a downtown 4-star property - order at counter, promptly served at the table, in a comfortable and casual environment. The breakfast entrees were absolutely delicious - high quality ingredients cleverly and expertly and promptly prepared. Tip: We had dinner at Tulio's, one block north of the hotel. We had last eaten there twenty years ago. It's better than ever. Moderately expensive but high-quality Italian restaurant. Best to have a reservation, but we did walk in at 5:30pm and were happily and immediately seated.…
If you are a person who rents a room to actually get some sleep in, this place is not for you. Housekeeping talking on doors wakes you up. Doors slamming shut wakes you up. People partying all night wakes you up. People getting up early and yelling down the hallways wakes you up. The sound dampening and courtesy of staff and clients alike in this place are abysmal. Do not recommend for that price.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in a great downtown location, opposite the Fairmont. Good bar which can be busy. Plenty of restaurants nearby incl Capital Grill and Shuckers. Pike Street and other shopping areas all walking distance. Room was modern and comfy. Good toiletries and bathrobe.
