I stay at the W for various reasons...safety, location, views, cleanliness, and the professional, thoughtful, caring staff. As I pull into the valet parking, they greet me with the utmost respect and recognize me. At the front desk, they expedite getting me into my room early if possible and always thank me for my loyalty. I can walk downtown, sporting events, Pike Place Market, and I just went to Teatro Zinzani and it was just a couple blocks away!

Stayed at the W for a wedding recently and our daughter turned 2 while we were there. The staff went above and beyond to make sure she had a great birthday! While the hotel probably does not consider toddlers their primary customers, Angela and Cisco made her day special by delivering some toys and snacks to our room. She was over the moon! The studio suite was big enough to place our daughter's crib around the corner from the main room so that we didn't have to tiptoe around in the dark after putting her down.

Room was nice, clean, if a little long and narrow. Check in/out smooth and easy. There was a problem with my drapes and it was fixed quickly. Room service was pricey ($70 for eggs, bacon, ham, hashbrowns, coffee, juice). The weekend dance party in the lobby is idiotic. Blasting music in a small space trying to be some kind of discotheque... but why? A hotel should really be a place of sanctuary not a dance club. Not everyone is there to bump and grind.

Love this downtown hotel in great location. Walkable to Pike Fish Market area and many Seattle attractions. My room is big, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is very good but take a long time to get our food. Tried room service and dinner at the bar is all good. The lobby area with the fireplace is cool place to chill. The only issue is housekeeping did not clean our room during the four day stay. It turned out you have to request housekeeping service the night before.

I was here for 5 days and found the room to be spacious, bed comfortable, and hotel clean. The property smelled really good and staff was extra courteous and accommodating. the lounge downstairs was always busy with people and music, which made for a relaxing atmosphere.

Great service from the time you walk through the door. I appreciated the upbeat vibe of the hotel, centered around music with the DJ in the lobby and the music room on the top level for elite members. Great amenities; room service is stellar, the gym is highly functional, and the location is unbeatable. This is one of my go-to hotels in the Seattle Area.

Very awesome hotel staff, Patrick was very helpful when he apologized about laundry service being late and how they couldn’t locate my bag. He was a director and treated me like a VIP and was very nice to everyone + working the front desk and getting his hands dirty. The food at Trace Market was delicious (bagel sandwich to avocado toast was yummy) , and Sal, the Manager, helped planned a nice breakfast for my entire team and I where the orders came out right at 8:05am as everyone came down for our team breakfast. When we ordered Uber eats and utensils were missing the restaurant had no problem offering us many forks and knives as needed. What made it even more impressive was The hotel was FULLY BOOKED the entire two weeks I stayed there from events, weddings, flight crew, etc. they handled and took care of everyone quickly. And thank goodness the elevators are VERY fast, the maid service was great and I appreciate the consistent check in at night to top up for Platinum members (I’ll be Titanium after this stay) and how they would call me asking if I wanted my room serviced since I tend to get it serviced every other day as it’s more environmentally friendly and the maids get a break. Location wise the hotel is walking distance to almost everything like the Great Wheel, Museums, many restaurants and bars around, etc.

The location of this hotel is ideal. It’s convenient to everything. The one and only pro about this hotel. Apart from that the hotel was disappointing in some aspects. We were told that we were upgraded to a “spectacular view room” based on our loyalty status. The spectacular view was a view of the fairmont hotel blocking any and every possible “view” and left us looking at pigeons and a rusty looking balcony of that property. The room was not as expected when we entered. The attention to cleanliness was not there. The first impression of a guest entering their hotel room should have a somewhat wow factor. The sheets were stained and the headboard had visible marks of something that was either spilled or a soda can that exploded. The housekeeping staff however was great during our stay and left leaving the room looking visibly clean. Valet parking is crazy expensive but there is a fairly reasonable and convenient parking garage right on the side. (On the side of a weird looking convenience store) The property is outdated and could be better. When you think of W you think of a facility on a low key luxurious level. This was more of a Sheraton level W. I would not care to stay here again. For a hotel on the pricier end compared to other hotels in the vicinity within the same service tier, it was nothing out of the ordinary.

Second time staying at this hotel and I will not be going back. They leave minibar items out in the room with no markings. We got a surprise bill for more than $40 for a tiny bottle of wine that had been left out with 2 glasses sitting next to it. When I contacted the hotel they made it my fault that I did not telepathically know which items belong to the minibar that are not actually in the minibar. It was like pulling teath to get any compensation from them. Horrible customer service for a high end Marriott property

W is usually a warranty of high quality. Not this time...I changed rooms 3 times, and there was always a background noise in the room, coming from outside. Gim is terrible, small, old equipment and a great view of nothing. No Netflix on the TV, they said to connect an HDMI cable but they don't provide it to you. Are we in a Courtyard? No, you pay a premium price. No way guys, you will never see me again.
