The room was nice, clean, comfy, but there was some kind of horrible noise that started before 6 AM, sounded like an army of lawnmowers chasing a diesel truck; even noise cancelling headphones didn’t help. The front desk acted surprised and said they’d look into it. The rooms are unusable until they figure out what it is.

Hotel's Favourite
The staff are very pleasant at all times, the rooms are small (1014), but clean. We did notice the rooms on the other side of our hallway were larger and possibly had nicer views - it might pay to enquire about them. We did find some of the linen rather worn in places and also Queen beds as stated. Don't expect any larger. They have free beer and wine between 5-6pm. Upon receiving our bill, as Australians, we are always surprised by the taxes and fees which make up a reasonable portion of the room rate in the USA. The "guest ammenity" fee with this particular hotel is the latest surprise...$US25/day...then the tax on that is $US3.92! Ask the staff to explain this to you and how it works and try to use it to your advantage as you're going to pay it no matter what. We only found out about it through another guest, but it was too late.

Loud and dirty and not to the Kimpton standard. The location is good but I have trouble finding any other positives. These 5 star reviews have me very confused. I was barely greeted. I could hear my neighbors talking through the walls. The restaurant was very loud and they could not move my room. Dusty. Musty. A hair on the made bed that was not mine. If I was staying for more than a night I would have moved hotels.

Good afternoon! We are deeply apologetic to hear about your negative experience. While we strive to have exceptional service, we've clearly missed the mark. Please let us know if you decide to visit again, we'd love to take care of you.

We stayed here after being at The Gorge for a concert and wanted to spend a few days in Seattle. The hotel is right downtown and you really have to pay attention to where the parking garage entrance is when arriving. That honestly is the most negative thing I can say. The staff is great, especially Del, the parking attendant and guide to all! The rooms are on the small side as is expected in a city but still plenty of room. The bed was really comfortable! We enjoy walking so we were happy with the location. 4 blocks to Pike Market Place, and 2 more to the Sunset Cruise. The Space Needle would be an Uber for many people but it was a beautiful late summer day so we walked and then came back along the water.

Great central location with good sized rooms and a very welcoming reception team and area. Some aspects of the hotel quite tired and part of our floor was missing a carpet (!) but I think this was part of renovation. Overall a good hotel though and would stay again.

Very nice hotel. Bright, great location, clean. Great restaurant, tulio, on site. Top 10 in Seattle, ate there after long day of travel. Can walk to other restaurants like Cortina, mint, capital grill and more. And pikes place as well. Tours will pick you up at hotel easily too, did 2. Johnathon, night manager, was terrific! Very helpful, responded to our one issue immediately and thoroughly. Friendly, enjoyed job. Coffee ready before 430 am, which was great for an early riser like me. Even on weekend. Plenty of hot, quiet, even in busy area.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Happy Hour was a nice touch. One (of the two) elevators was closed off but it was a good excuse to use the stairs. The yoga mat and bikes were a nice touch plus a small gym which had everything needed for a workout.

The hotel is conveniently situated for the Seattle waterfront and quiet despite being at a busy intersection. Front of house was friendly and helpful but managed to take three different credit card deposits on check-in (should have been one) which I pointed out to them when I checked my card account in the evening and they rectified it when I told them. On checkout they debited me for carparking which I did not use and. again, I had to point this out to them to have it sorted. I still have an outstanding problem with the third party ATM in the lobby. Not a good experience for which they have apologised. The poorest element of the stay was that the hotel does not do breakfast just coffee in the lobby. This is not apparent on the website and, in truth, I would not have stayed there had I known as there is nowhere locally that we found for a light meal to start the day. If you do not take breakfast and keep track of your account then it's a good place to stay as the restaurant for dinner is good.

Having recently stayed at the Kimpton Margot in Sydney (great recently renovated art deco property), selected Margot Vintage in Seattle. It sounded like it offered a similar experience. But we were wrong. It was tired, did not look anything like the marketing photos, and would be better named Seattle Old, not Seattle Vintage. The staff however were fantastic - at reception and especially Juan the maintenance guy who was very helpful.
