We were in Seattle under difficult circumstances with a loved one in Harborview Medical Center. The hotel is on the historic register and yet does not feel outdated. Really nice stay, convenient to the Medical Center, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. They have a medical rate if you are there for one of the hospitals nearby.

This elegant hotel is so comfortable and easy to stay at. We loved that our charming room had plenty of space and a Nespresso coffee maker and wonderful bath soaps. The front desk was so helpful for all kinds of requests and, though it's very expensive to park a car in the city, the car was brought to us in a timely fashion every time. We especially loved that they always had fresh coffee, water, a bowl of fruits and a tray of pastries out for the taking - every day! They also have a rug in the lift that was changed for each day...the day of the week updated daily!

Hotel is nice and location is decent. It's about a 10 minute walk to downtown. Lots of sirens from emergency services. It's next to a hospital so that makes sense. $60 a day valet parking. $25 per day resort fee which is pure profiteering. There is no pool, hot tub or in room microwave. There's a list of complimentary things that come with fee highlighted by wifi and two bottled waters. Can something be complimentary if you must pay a fee to get it? Don't think so.

I have mobility challenges and had booked a "handicapped accessible" room for the night before my surgery. Unfortunately, the room we were assigned WAS NOT AT ALL ACCESSIBLE. The furniture placement and narrow dood widths prohibited me from getting to the bathroom which was devoid of any handrails.

The Sorrento is a tired hotel posing as a boutique luxury inn. In the first room I was shown, the sheets had holes and stains. The second room had a corner of the room dedicated to a pile of equipment designated as ventilation — essentially a space heater on top of a defunct air conditioner. The bathroom was new but don’t try to get hot water before an early morning flight because the old building has trouble with hot water in the morning. The bed was comfortable enough. The front desk folks are very nice and try to be accommodating but they have a challenging task keeping people happy in this place.

This is a great place to stay. We were there for a birthday celebration and a Seahawks game. Beautiful hotel. Very comfortable and clean rooms. I loved that the beds each had five pillows! The staff was helpful and kind. If you want to do a bit of ghost hunting they don't mind... I would defiantly stay there again! Do not miss the Fireside lounge for some cocktails or food during your stay!

Sorrento is old world comfort to me. It is easy to stay here, uncomplicated with everything I needed for a restful stay. Good communication about unavoidable construction noise next door. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, shower and bathroom newer and bright.

Charming old hotel a short walk from the cool Capitol Hill district. Not quite as illustrated online, the hotel is a little tired. Expensive for the standard of accommodation & facilities. Shop around .

Truly awful Hotel, dirty, NOISY!! Dark and dingy bar and restaurant. The photos do not represent the actual condition of the hotel or rooms. So bad we checked out the next day and moved to another hotel.

Everybody was courteous and helpful. The room was kept spotless. The food in the bar was very good although the waiter forgot about me at the very end of the meal. And they were quick to find a cooler that I had accidentally left behind when checking out.
