Arrived in the morning and told our room would be ready soon. We left for four hours and returned to the hotel expecting the room to be ready. Without even checking our reservation, we were told to come back in two additional hours. My wife and I were tired from walking and elected to wait in the lobby. As we waited, every other incoming guest was checked in and taken to their room. The manager and staff are being rude about my wife inquiring why we are being made to wait. Same excuse about the room as we still sit. I wish we were still staying at the Mayflower. They’re professional and courteous.
Superb hotel in downtown Seattle. 5 mins walk from Pike place Market and most downtown shopping as well as Westlake station for trains and the monorail Rooms are big, stylishly decorated with lots of practical features like pier and charging outlets in convenient places. The restaurant Lola in the lobby is excellent with Serious Pie pizza and Dahlia bakery opposite with a visit. Very friendly and helpful reception staff made the stay special.
Excellent as far I'm concerned. Been a while with hotel that provides newspaper daily. So let's get to something of note. Construction across street, not sure how long before completion. A little noisy in the morning. The bed is somewhat low to floor, I don't think it's bad. Pizza joint/bakery across the street is good. Took us 5 mins to walk to train station to get to airport. $6 and 30 min ride for two.
Gorgeous hotel, staff is top notch!!! Fabrizio Bettini, Concierge is the best we've experienced for staff. Room was colorful, cool and clean. Great valet service too! Bar drinks were tasty and location is perfect. Very soft bed with a cool Nordic vibe.
Love this hotel! Always make you feel like family and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Close to everything. 10 minute walk to Pike place, close to many restaurants and shopping, they can arrange for a driver if you need one. Spacious and clean rooms. Enjoy!
I usually feel peeved when parking charges arise especially as they're often not a cheap daily rate but, in some cities it's pretty unavoidable. The overall cost of the stay fell into the realms of acceptability not least because this place was spot on. Good location, good facilities, really helpful at the desk and high standards in rooms and cleanliness. Extremely comfortable beds. However, the owners of this hotel and others, indeed every other business in Seattle need to bring pressure to bear on the local politicians to deal with homelessness in the wide area and not just hide the problem bit deal with it. Giving a dollar a time to a homeless person would be a very expensive exercise. Some are clearly mentally impaired. Sidewalk tents are springing up and there's no way I'd walk through the gathering of these desperate down trodden souls. Hard to balance Biden approving another $100m of weaponry to Ukraine but that's another topic. I could recommend this hotel but, presently difficult to recommend Seattle. It's are hard truth. Sorry Seattle but, there it is.…
Beautiful room and overall atmosphere. Staff was friendly and professional. Perfect location to walk almost anywhere. Great coffee shop across the street and restaurants galore within easy walking distance. Will definitely return. Please don't change a thing.
Over the last nine years we have stayed here numerous times as it was close to our son's residence. It always had a welcoming home feel and with Lola attached filled with wonderful aromas upon entering the lobby. Lola recently reopened after being closed during covid however it was wonderful to arrive from a long east coast flight to check in then have dinner. The rooms have been redone thoughtfully although some of the light switches are a trial to see what they go to. The light furniture is pleasing to the eye but for some the lower beds might be an issue. The bed itself was extremely comfortable. Having a sofa in the room was a nice touch as well as the nespresso for a quick cup before venturing out for coffee in one of the many wonderful local coffee shops. The only thing that hasn't changed is the size of the bathrooms which are still very small. They have maximized the space with shelves but it still is quite compact. If you need the room made up or clean linens one has to request it but they are very quick to accommodate the guest. The staff was exceptional. It was a great 6 night stay and would return again.…
Loved the cute and cozy decor here at this renovated boutique hotel. Perfect for 2 night business trip but would stay here for fun too. Walk to cute coffee shops and restaurants, closer than I thought to Space Needle and Chihuly and Pike Place Market. Bed was soooo comfortable, lovely view on 9th floor, nice snacks and amenities, restaurant was closed though so had to go out for food/drink, but was happy to do so as Seattle has so many great coffee/food options! Staff was very nice and helpful.
We stayed at Hotel Andra recently for a full week. The room was beautiful and spacious. I really wish I could have taken home the shower and bath products! I loved that there was a separate vanity area that I could get ready. The room had a very cool and modern feel and we really enjoyed the renovations. We loved that everything was lighter colored so it made the room feel very spacious. Hotel staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. During COVID, housekeeping was by request, but that didn’t bother us at all. The most important thing was that that someone stocked our coffee every day (we so lovingly called them the coffee fairy). The bed was probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept in. And don’t get me started on how great the water pressure was! The location was also excellent! 10 min walk to Pike Place, 15 to the Seattle Center, 5ish min to the monorail and the light rail and close to a few bus stops! The only downside was the fridge. It was filled with all the bar snacks and drinks (which we definitely could have taken out to make room for anything we needed, but I was afraid something would have gotten lost and we would get charged. So we didn’t touch it). We will definitely be back!…
