Hotel's Favourite
Perfect in so many ways! They had a room with two bathrooms and this was an amazing find! We have a family member with a health issues that made it super wonderful. Extra clean, Extra pillows, really close to the Monorail to the Space Needle and really easy walk to Pike Market. We were able to maximize our limited time in Seattle due to the location. The front desk was terrific giving us dining ideas locally, since we had 6 people with different meal preferences. Plus, they had a reasonable shuttle to Pier 91 for our cruise. Everyone was over the top friendly and professional. Would recommend with 5 stars!

A charming hotel in the heart of downtown, yet it feels separated from all of the traffic at the Market. Easy walking distance to several restaurants, attractions ,and the monorail. Not a bad walk to the ferry terminal either. We had a suite with a separate living area,a spacious bedroom, and 2 full baths. The furnishings are very traditional, complete with draperies at the windows,so it feels like yoou are in someone's home. The staff were all exceptional, from the greetings of the doormen,to the front desk staff, and even the housekeeping staff. This was the first time staying at the Mayflower, after stays at the Crown Plaza,Westin, etc, but it is now our favorite hotel in Seattle. We hope to return again soon!

We stayed at the Mayflower last summer and loved it so much that when we returned to Seattle this summer, we did not hesitate to come back here. Happy to report that this conveniently located hotel remains lovely and charming and we thoroughly enjoyed everything about it - the room, the 2 restaurants and the wonderful staff. Couldn't ask for anything better.

Couldn't fault the room, it was clean & comfy. Hotel is in a good location, walking distance to pike place. Staff were friendly, Jessie (I think his name was) was welcoming. We went for breakfast in their restaurant too which was lovely, would recommend.

Sketchy area after dark however it seems like all of downtown Seattle may be sketchy after dark. During the day this is a good area to be in. Pike's Place Market is a reasonable walk away. A monorail to the Space Needle is very close. Also, reasonable close to restaurants. Rooms were very comfortable and appeared clean. I thought the service was very good. There is also a nice lobby bar and I thought they made good drinks. Really liked the Bourbon Sidecar. If I needed to be in this area I would absolutely stay here again. The only downside is I thought the price for valet parking was a little high.

Thank you for the review of your recent stay with us. Yes, like most downtown metropolitan areas there are elements of downtown that can only be found in a downtown metropolitan area. We apologize on behalf of the city but I assure everyone that we always do our part to ensure a safe downtown experience. We are happy to hear you enjoyed Oliver's Bar and Lounge. They are known for their martinis but do everything very well. Yes, there is a fee for valet parking, but we make sure its the best rate in downtown. It is very difficult to find a place in downtown that does not charge for parking due to the limited parking. But great thing is most guests do not need a car at our location since we are so close to a lot of what downtown has to offer!

What a superior hotel! The room was super spacious, clean, tasteful, with lots of natural light available as well as excellent curtain coverage. The elegance of the hotel was wonderful. Some people may prefer more "modern" decor but we really appreciated the callback to the hotel's origins. Especially loved that we were supporting an independent owner. The beds were very comfortable, linens excellent, towels generous, and everything about the room was fabulous, with the possible exception of a rather small tv for some people (though we had no need to watch tv so it didn't matter to us). The staff was wonderful, the bar was great, and everyone we met clearly was enjoying their stay. It is a more expensive hotel, for sure, but if you are savvy and look for ways to save, it is comparable to other hotels in the area. LOCATION was superb! All in all, I would go back there in a heartbeat and recommend 100% to others. (fyi: we did not have a car so we did not have to add in the cost of parking, and given its location a car was not needed at all.) We were not planning on staying here initially and so glad we changed plans!

We loved our stay at this beautiful historic hotel. It’s a gem! It had very spacious rooms, very clean with views of the city. Front staff and bellmen were so helpful as well. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Oliver’s Bar was so beautiful and a great place to relax. We were blocks away from the Monorail to go to the Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens, Pike Place and waterfront.

I just checked into the Mayflower Park Hotel, and wanted to give a shout out to Robert Mendelson, the gentleman who helped me at the front desk. I had asked if I might switch rooms, which he was able to do ( not an easy task as the hotel is full). He then went on to suggest a number of restaurants, and to give me directions, helpful tips for the area, and so on. He was gracious, knowledgeable and kind. This wonderful greeting has helped a solo traveler feel very welcome in a new city. Thank you, Robert!

Great downtown location with easy walking/public transport. Not far from the public market. Small but comfortable room and bath in a smaller traditional hotel. Good service. Expensive valet parking only.

Thank you for leaving a review of your recent stay with us. We are happy you enjoyed your stay! I am sorry about our valet fee. The hotels uses a garage a few blocks offsite so we want to ensure that our guests have an option to park with us. I know it is a fee of 45$ a night, but that is the best valet rate in downtown for a hotel due to parking being such a scarce commodity in downtown. We do have a great park and play package that gives our guests a great deal on their room/parking.
