Glad we chose this hote- the rooms wee large, the location was very near sites like the Space Need,e and restaurants, the staff was courteous and helpful. Also liked that we had a kitchenette so we didn't always have to eat out.

Great Location and unique historic hotel. Hidden costs, charged for children at checkout. Surprise price increases upon arrival for valet unexpected. However, close to night life, shopping, and right on the bus line.

We e booked through a third party and didn't expect much, upon our arrival we were overwhelmed by the location, the age and beauty inside. The room was aged but in a way that was very soothing. Great stay

Pluses - the front desk staff is friendly. The location is terrific. The hotel bar is cute and serves good coffee. That's about it. There is no elevator and we were on the third floor. The hotel is 100 years old so we understand that everything is not modernized, but the bathtub was dirty when we arrived. The tub wouldn't...

I have stayed in many old style hotels and appreciate that certain things can't be done to make them like more modern hotels...however the things wrong here could easily be fixed. Firstly we had continental breakfast included which was a plate of doughnuts and cut up oranges. Pathetic. They were having things done to the kitchen (apparently) but cereal and...

Overall our experience was good. This isn't a modern hotel. It's a charming old building and you can save quite a bit of $ if you shop for deals. It has a beautiful staircase but unfortunately you must climb them if you're on the upper floors. If stairs are hard for you then the 1st floor is a must. We...

Service was great. Fast check-in and even faster check-out. I loved the building and the decor of the hotel. The room was large with a high ceiling, which I liked. Great location and affordable if you get a deal. Loved that our room came with a mini kitchen with a fridge and dining area. However, because of the age of...

The Marqueen is housed in a hundred-year-old building -- if walls could talk! The rooms are spacious and include a good-sized kitchenette. These rooms are definitely well suited for long stays. The bed is comfortable, the staff is super cordial, and the furnishings are quaint but comfortable.
