We had a wonderful stay. Not your average B&B. Accomodating hosts that accepted us warmly into their beautiful home. Our breakfast was extremely tasty and our room very comfortable. We couldn't of asked for any more. Thank you!!

Five of us stayed here after traveling from Fountainbleau to Provins. The uniquely decorated rooms were accompanied by clean / modern baths. An excellent gourmet breakfast was provided by Michel, a retired chef, featuring fresh fruit and bread / pastries. Dining options in the town are very limited. There appear to be more / better options within the walled city...

We had a lovely weekend. The house is amazing and the food excellent (you must eat there are night, their 'table d'hote' is the best experience). Muriel and Michel really love what they do and you can feel it anywhere in the house. We will come back for sure.

What a wonderfully luxurious experience. I chose to stay in the Reine des Neiges or Snow Queen room out of the 5 themed rooms on offer and certainly felt like a queen for the night. Lying back on the rabbit fur rug, draped over the white linen bed, watching the 4000 crystals attached to the walls and ceiling sparkle and...

We were very satisfied with our 4 nights stay over the new year. The location is excellent, right next to the main historical sites and parking right next to the house is easy. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Michel booked a table at a local restaurant for new years eve when we had called 10 or 15 looking...

Highly recommended for a weekend getaway just a short hour away from Paris! What made really worth the stay was the attention to detail that the managers put in the service. We had both dinner and breakfast here and everything was excellent. The food is all home-made and really refined.

We had a lovely time at this hotel and the hosts, Michel and Muriel made us very welcome. Each room is themed and we stayed in the Puss-in-Boots room, which was snug in exactly the right way. The whole hotel is full of design details and interesting items. Would love to come back with friends and family and there are...

Perhaps one of the high points of our trip to France, La maison de Stella Cadente turned out to be a very pleasant surprise for my wife and I. One would not expect such an exquisite property in a small town like Provins especially one that is so well maintained. To add to that we had a most hospitable couple,...

Thank you so much for this review. We are very glad that you have spent a good stay in Provins, particulary in our guesthouse. We have been enjoyed by your presence, our discussion and this dinner together. It will be with a great pleasure that we'll see you an other time.

This is a handsome house sat in the middle of rolling lawns, less than a 5 minute walk up to the town's main square. Parking is on-street and easy or, if you ask nicely, Daniel the manager will allow you to park in his courtyard which has room for one car (but note,1m 90 height restriction). There is free Wi-fi....

If you are going to Provins, La Maison d'Hôtes Stella Cadente is the place to stay. It’s ideally situated just four or five minutes from the historic part of town and the oldest restaurant in France (Hostellerie de la croix d’or). The grounds are expansive and invite visitors to enjoy a stroll in the grass, read on the garden chairs,...

Wahoo! Thank you for a such  review. We see that you have enjoyed the guesthouse as much as Provins and our presence, our pets. That affects us much. Helen and I are much more attentive to our foreign guests that they usually have little or no experience Provins, France, or our way of life. Also because like you we had...
