There are few options when it comes to staying at Skagway, this is a very decent place, nice rooms. It's in a small town so everything is close, restaurants, bars, shops. They have a shuttle to the airport. The WiFi is only available in the lobby.

The hotel looks tired from the outside, the inside was not much better. The staff seemed to be rushed, although pleasant. The rooms were dated and well used. The beds were not comfortable, but had clean sheets. The bathroom had mildew in the tub area and the towels were stained. The buffet breakfast was not good, seemed the eggs were...

The biggest, and almost only, place in town. Good bed, good shower, excellent hot/cold water. Room space adequate; bathroom shelf space adequate; Lighting good in bathroom, ok in main room. Supposed to have wifi in public areas, but we could not get it. Lounge was useful for reading space & such.

We stayed 2 nights to do the Yukon train trip and some walking. We were in the motel style rooms across the road from the lobby. Room was great and everything we needed. WiFi only available in the lobby, had a few drinks there, seemed pleasant enough. No complaints.

A charming inn within a block of all downtown attractions and nature hikes in Skagway. We stayed in the part that is more like a motel, but it was pretty, had a nice courtyard, and the room was comfortable. Staff at the restaurant and cafe were very friendly, and the WiFi in the comfy and welcoming lounge was very popular....

Staying here was part of the Holland America Land tour...and it was pretty poor. Now on the positive side, the lobby area furniture looked nice (there were so many of us that we were crammed in there for over two hours while waiting on the rooms to be cleaned), as did the hallways. And it's located close to downtown. But...

This hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of main street. It is more like a motel. It is rustic but the rooms were clean but functional. Clean lobby that offered free wifi and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Not many choices in this small cruise ship town. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms needs major overhauls to bring them into the 20th century. It feels like a motel on Route 66 back in the 50s! Beds are okay but nothing luxurious, hotel cable is snowy, they have keys...

Arrived for our 3 night stay. We were not on a cruise but most people staying here are. It can be a very busy place. They allocated our room across the road. Avoid if possible, it reminded me of a dormitory at school camp. Extremely small too and extremely basic. We asked to be moved which they did on our...

The room was clean but small with the door opening to a walkway within 20 feet of the road ... a little noisy. Room as well as the hotel lobby and restaurant are in need of refurbishment. The restaurant service was fine but dinner was only OK. Breakfast was a buffet that was not well maintained and out of some...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The popular Westmark Inn Skagway captures the spirit of the Klondike Trail with its Victorian decor, rustic setting and warm Alaskan hospitality. The Inn's 151 guest rooms accommodate travelers in turn-of-the-century style, while guests looking for a special dining experience will enjoy the Chilkoot Dining Room where you can find friendly service and fine food. The mere mention of Skagway brings to mind those rough and ready days of Jack London and miners scrambling over the Chilkoot Trail in search of golden dreams and elusive riches.
